I tried 3 toners, loads of purple shampoo and a purple hair mask but it ended up just being yellow and silver streaks - my roots were not budging. I bought 2 packs of this yesterday, did roots first and then the rest of my hair and left it on for 25 minutes. Washed it and dried it and it looks amazing. So shiny and NO YELLOW OR BRASSINESS! Hair now a little straw-like
29 September 2021

For 8.13 Medium Ash BlondeMy hair is naturally dark blonde and I usually use Clairol Nice 'N Easy in Medium Ash Blonde. With the Garnier, I can see immediately that around the roots the colour is almost heading into orangey territory when I'm in natural light. I'm used to more ashy tones with the Clairol, so I'm a bit worried that as the colour fades or washes out I might find that my long hair turns an unbecoming shade of something that simply ain't medium ash blonde. Also, this has been the most watery colour I've used in a long time. However, I did add about 10ml of Cureplex, which might be responsible. All I know is that it was dripping all over the floor, and without my glasses on I didn't realise what a mess I'd made until the colour began to develop. The ... MoreFor 8.13 Medium Ash BlondeMy hair is naturally dark blonde and I usually use Clairol Nice 'N Easy in Medium Ash Blonde. Unfortunately, it left my hair feeling like straw -- something I never get with the Clairol conditioner. Hopefully as it dries it won't feel so bad. I'm hesitant to use the hairdryer as I'm already prone to lots of frizz and breakage.I used this colour as I've had it in the cupboard for a while and didn't want to be wasteful. I'd never get my hair coloured by a hairdresser, so I'm comfortable with home hair dyeing and have had many good and bad outcomes. I'm just a little disappointed in this Garnier Nutrisse experience and can't imagine I'd buy it again. Hope you have better luck -- I know everyone's hair is different. :)

LOVE THIS HAIR COLOUR
10 November 2022

Getting a hair colour for my hair has often been a nightmare. I have fine hair and need a hair colour that does not dry my hair out. Although I have blond coloured hair the natural tones in my hair are a red/ginger tone so going blond meant I had to have my hair streaked. Years later I decided to go for an all over colour but found Light Blond and Very Light Blond shades left the roots of my hair turning yellow or a dark ginger along with some grey hair. I found after several attempts I could not use Light Blond or Very Light Blond hair colour because they have a warm tone to them and after a few weeks my roots turn yellow or ginger. Wanting a change and finding that lovely blond shade I came across Garnier Nutrisse Very Light Pearly Blond hair colour and it gave me everything I needed. I absolutely love it. My hair now has a few tones to it whilst being a lovely very light blond shade but without the yellow and ginger roots. My hair is also well conditioned and feels so soft. I am so pleased. I would highly recommend.

I don't understand the hype with this colour. And this brand! I only have shoulder length hair and needed 2 bottles to fully saturate my hair. My hair to begin with was all one solid light auburn colour. This hair dye made my hair patchy. My roots went red/purple the mids went sort of similar to the box and the ends went dark blonde! On top of the horrific smell I couldn't breathe. It made my eyes water like crazy. It also made my hair extensions an odd purple colour too! I've wasted money now having to spend more to correct this. It might work out for some people, but im staying far away from this range from now on. I had a nice result with garniers "medium dark brown" but the longevity of the colour let it down massively. After the first wash it was patchy. Perhaps the best cool icy blonde hair dye
26 May 2022

I’ve been dying my hair blonde for years and tried hundreds of products.I believe this is the best icy blonde colour out there. It gives very even finish, is easy and super quick to apply, doesn’t damage hair, while it develops it changes colour to slightly blue which tones hair at the same time and prevents the horrible yellow finish. I used it years ago, always happy, but wanted to test other dyes and I’m now back to this one again and will stay with it. Sick of other colours leaving the range of hues on your hair, from green to blue and pink, and long process of bleaching and toning for hours - this took me 1 hour total time and I was done.Note that my hair was already light blonde but it had loads of brassiness and orange tones in it which I hated. So natural looking
12 August 2022

The results are just that... darkest brown! It almost looks black but isn't. Its a very rich dark brown with brown flex in it. It WILL come out black when you first use it. This is normal and will fade after the first or second wash. It's so similar if not the exact same as my natural hair colour which is what I wanted to go back to after my hair had been colour treated and colour lifted. Highly recommend for those dyeing grays too as it gives 100% coverage. Also the nutrisse hair dyes are so gentle on the hair and scalp and don't smell nearly as potent as most other permanent box colours. You get a good size bottle of conditioner too which is also lovely. Give it a go!

Such a natural, long lasting colour
5 May 2022

After trying many different brands and types of home hair dye I now regularly use Garnier Nutrisse Crème permanent hair dye every 3 weeks to keep my hair looking amazing and could not live without it. This hair dye has excellent coverage and is a consistent colour whether it is colouring my natural dark hair or patches of very light greys, it leaves my hair incredibly shiny and is very natural-looking colour. I follow the instructions and leave on for extra 10 minutes to cover stubborn greys, and focus on my root growth, to avoid build-up of colour on the ends of the hair. The hair conditioner supplied with the dye is far to rich for my hair needs but I do use it now and again for a moisture boost. I use a mixing bowl and hair dye brush which I also bought from Superdrug when they were on special offer which makes the application much easier and more precise. My hairdresser says my hair is in fantastic condition and has passed on a tip of not using the full quantity when I am just covering my roots, so I now measure half the quantity out to mix together and keep the leftovers separate to use in 3 weeks’ time – which not only saves money but also saves lots of waste products going down the drain and more packing going in the recycling and bin.
