First time using this brand, I have been coloring for years. I usually go for Colorsilk or Féria, but when I saw this also was ammonia free and vegan I had to try it. My hair was a muddy medium/light brown color and I wanted a very dark shade, but not a black. So I watched a YouTube review Carli Bybel did and bought this one. It smelled beautiful not that typical hair dye smell I hate. The dye did not drip at all which I loved. I will say it took longer to mix because it was more creamy rather than liquidy. One bottle was just enough for my hair which is shoulder length and not thick so keep that in mind. The color saturated well. My hair is very dark, shiny and they do feel really healthy. The only thing is it actually feels like you have oil in them even after ... MoreFirst time using this brand, I have been coloring for years. I’d rather have them feeling a little greasy rather than that stripped dry feeling other dyes have. I will definitely use this brand again.

So, I had to make an account on this website because I felt like I should warn people. So, the darkest garnet is interesting. The instructions said 30 minutes. But I felt this was WAY TOO long at least for this shade. Anyways, for some reason this hair color turned out garnet/black. Which is NOT what I was looking for and I'm very thankful my hair ISN'T fully black as my full cherry intense red hair would've been a super long wait to get back if my hair was fully black. However underneath good lighting and sun you can see jewel toned garnet. However I will not be purchasing this again and try intense red. I just thought I would get a pretty dark garnet red to get something different from my usual cherry red hair color that's intense. Well I got more than I bargained ... MoreSo, I had to make an account on this website because I felt like I should warn people. So, the darkest garnet is interesting. I do hope the intensive red can go over this. Because my hair looks nothing like the model's hair sample, it's GARNET BLACK. It's not the jewel toned Garnet red in the cover. This was way too dark, more dark then I expected. However I've never seen my hair this soft before using a box dye before I give it that. Also, since this is oil based the hair dye is very runny btw. Which is no problem if you don't rush dying your hair then the hair dye goes everywhere. I've two inches over shoulder length hair and one box was enough because this stuff spreads everywhere but I've fine hair. So you probably will need two for thicker or curly hair. But stay far away from this if you think you're getting a jewel tone garnet with no black. Because I got garnet and black. Here is hoping intensive red can cover this mistake. I also, have to wait 7 days to recolor my hair, because that's what I read online what is the safest way to recolor your hair from a color you didn't like. Just be mindful of this your HAIR MIGHT TURN GARNET BLACK like mine, you've been warned. Now I've to use clarifying shampoo to try to lighten my hair (leaving the clarifying shampoo on for 20 mins and rinse with hot water) I hope if I do this evey three days the color will be somewhat lifted and hope the intense red from Olia can cover this awful disaster. I really hate how bad my hair looks.

If I’m using box dye, it’s this one in 1.0 Black. I want my hair super dark riiiiich glossyyyy black and this is the one! Honestly my favorite bc 1 - it doesn’t smell HORRIFIC while applying :D, 2 - it is a nice neutral tone, no red or blue undertones! 3 - it comes with a conditioner that makes my hair feel like siiiiilk and 4 - when I washed out the dye in my tub it didn’t stain at all?!?! OH and 5 - THIS STUFF STAYYYYSSSS IN YOUR HAIR! It goes NO WHERE! No stained pillow case, no dye washing out in the shower for dayssss after initials application… it’s *insane* what this stuff does for the cost. If you’re like me and trying to cut costs on hair appointments in this economy, look no further - you’ve found the solution to silky box-dyed hair ;)

This was my second time using this product. I went darker the first time and could see a difference. Months later, I went a shade lighter this time and can see a small difference. However i did not use any bleach products. I like that this is ammonia free, which I feel like is good. I did not lose as much hair as I normally do with other box dyes. The color only lasts a couple of weeks and it did not color all of the gray and white hairs I have. This is a great option for a quick store bought dye. My hair is now a neutral color instead of several shades thanks to this. I will purchase again in the future.
Best hair dye! I refuse to use anything else on my hair! This hair dye smells so good and has no ammonia which is amazing for your hair, it’s super easy to use you just shake it in the bottle and apply it you’re done! I used this to go from super bleached blonde back to brunette and it covered literally everything, just keep in mind if your hair is bleached, a dark dye will deposit more color into your hair so it might be a bit darker than you’re expecting until you wash it a few times! But besides that I’ve used this dye before bleaching and the colour match is IDENTICAL to the box, it’s only after bleaching the colour deposits a bit darker so maybe go a few shades lighter if you’re dying bleached hair. Color lasts for more than 2 months before fading on my hair!
My hair is naturally more of a blonde color and I got this to bring out some more of the blonde highlights. It had pretty good coverage without being super strong in the smell compared to some products. I was a little disappointed that it didn’t lighten my hair as much as I hoped, but it may have been that I didn’t let it process long enough. My hair texture after the initial conditioning treatment that came with the box was incredible! My hair had never felt so soft. After I washed it a few times later on, my hair didn’t feel quite as soft and got tangled easily, but it may just be the way that I treated my hair without any deep conditioning. Otherwise I actually really liked the product itself and would buy it again.
I normally use Dark Blonde from a different brand but have been unable to purchase for a number of months. It can be quite scary I think, changing brand and wondering which colour to go for but I am so glad I went with this product. Easy to apply, smells really nice and most importantly, it looks like I have just stepped out of a salon. The colour is so natural, and just that little shade lighter than Dark Blonde which I've always wanted but only achieve by washing my hair to lighten it slightly, or my hairdresser mixing shades. I've noticed quite a few reviews stating the user has blonde hair, used this product and didn't achieve the result they wanted. This colour is definitely NOT blonde in any way and I doubt it would lighten your hair either. Sorry it didn't ... MoreI normally use Dark Blonde from a different brand but have been unable to purchase for a number of months. Greys? I have them. Long ones, short ones and really frizzy, curly ones - typically I go to the salon, where I need to set side at least two hours of time and can feel my butt go numb from sitting in the chair; I wanted to avoid that, so I went to the pharmacy and came across this product... the best part of (what I first thought) was that it would be done in less than an hour! My question is, where can I just buy the Olia after color conditioner?! That product is sensational! My hair hasn't felt this luxurious and supple since I was in my twenties and, gosh darnnit, I want more!
I have fine and damaged hair, I don’t find that this adds to any further damage and the colour 5. 0 Brown lasts well/washes out nicely. I’ve been using this for years and I find it will wash out to a reddish brown, which I don’t really like but it’s not the worst. I think I use this maybe twice a year and it’s great. Nice and dark at first and then levels out for a few months before beginning to turn that reddish tone in the sunlight. I wouldn’t use any other dye now. I’m close to 40 and I’ve been dying my own hair since I was 12 years old so I’ve used everything and been every hair colour. This is by far the gentlest on my hair and doesn’t smell horrible either. If you’d like the colour to last longer then I’d recommend going a shade darker at first.
I am trying to find a replacement for a hair colour that's now been discontinued. I tried a strand test which looked ok, so went ahead and applied. My very fair hair is now so ashy that it has a pink/lilac tinge. I took the colour through the mid lengths for a b short time to blend it urine application. It gripped some areas casting a really grey tone whilst other areas are quite beige. It's aged me, and I hate it. My son asked why I had made my hair the colour of titanium so it's not just me.I had done the online try it in on feature before to select the shade. Needless to say it is very different to that. It also left my hair extremely dry and knotty which I have not experienced with a colour for years.
