I can not give an answer to any of the above questions as I have not and will not be using the gas bottle. I purchased the gas bottle to fit into a specific location that was 2cm larger than the approximate diameter of the gas bottle given on Grey's Online ebay site. On receipt of the gas bottle it was actually 26cm in diameter. I am of the belief that a 2cm variation on an advertised approx 24cm diameter gas bottle is a very poor manufacturing process, and if that sort of variation is needed then the specifications should clearly state the 'approxiate' size with e.g. plus or minus 2cm then we would be able to base our purchase on accurate information.
