Love the convenience of the gas stove especially as it comes with its own travelling case. But my hot plate buckled after the first use, so not really fit for purpose. Not sure if it is the case for all or just mine.
Very disappointing. Set stove up to cook & inserted gas canister . Followed instructions & tried to light. Knob would turn 360 degrees without restriction. Removed canister & noticed a rattle when moving machine & piece fell out of it. Looks like something relating to ignition mechanism. Not robust at all.
Great little stove easy to use and convenient. Would have got 5 stars but the case is flimsy making it hard to close for storage.
Decent burner, the air shield/cover certainly helps to maximise heating. Great all round package in a box that fits neatly in rear drawers. Only gripe is the hotplate that comes with it folds in the middle from opposite corners within 2minutes even on half flame setting.. a very soft alloy not suitable for too many eggs as it will bunch to one side and spill.
Stove works well, it has a wind brake ring around the burner and has the latest cut off system to protect the gas cylinder with a cooling vent between the burner and gas cylinder. It lights easily and produces a lot of heat. It comes with a thin flat grill plate which fits well and cooks ok but could of been a little thicker for better heat distribution.
We love this little cooktop we bought this to use on our boat and wanted something compact. Really happy with this purchase!
It’s a good size for one person possibly two. I washed the hotplate on top beforehand but the smell was horrendous and got into the food. It might be better next time but I’ll stick with a frypan. Do not use a wok as it can cause canister to explode I was told only use a pan no bigger than the burner. Also don’t block the ventilation holes and it looks like it will last a long time. Don’t start cooking on high heat as it burns too easily but 3/4 was good.
