This seems to be a good product and cheaper than I expected. It certainly solved the 'belt screech' issue I was experiencing
Bought this Gates idler pulley for my BA FUTURA the other week,and seems just fine.I think i remember that this pulley was made in Canada.The Gates drivebelt tensioner with pulley I just bought as well for the same car is made in Canada and goes good too.I have heard that Gates have had stuff made in China,but don't know what all this means,but refreshing to see something made in Canada get down here,and may come from a good facility and skilled workers, who knows.In the middle of numerous jobs on car so haven't used the new Gates stuff for many K's,but this stuff seems fine.
Reliable items very good used it on a VX clubsport 5.7 l so it's handle that I think it's good
I am happy with the item and price and works well and packed well
Bought as a replacement for a noisy top idler pulley on the trusty VXIt was a easy change out, fitted as per the OEM at half the price $$$ saved
