Completed transmission fluid change with this fluid and it completely changed. The shifts are way smoother going into gear, and had no issues trying to get into any gear. I was having issues with the old fluid going into sixth, and now it goes in with no problem. Completely recommend this. Also I used with the new wavetrac LSD and it has been very smooth.

Unfortunately after I swapped this into my 370Z 6 spd, 1st to 2nd gear shifts will catch or grind slightly until after it warms up more maybe 5-10 miles. I'm gonna try a different fluid immediately, mind you this probably isn't the case with every transmission. I may have a pre existing syncro issue idk but it wasn't doing it before, maybe just a firm clunk when it was cold in the morning from 1st to 2nd the first time or 2. Now there is resistance from first to 2nd causing some not so pretty noises. I'll try Redline

Ester based oil

Impossible to say whether this gear oil is going to give the differential on my Infiniti G37 a longer life, but one thing to note is it's an ester based oil. Not an oil expert but I do know that Nissan uses esters in their $12 per quart conventional oil, which is the recommended factory solution for certain G37 engine ticking and knocking noises, and it apparently works. Esters are also used in Archoil, which is a $210 per gallon engine oil additive, jet engine oil, and refrigerant oil. Motul is made in France.

Excellent product

I recently used this in a Porsche 996 C4 manual transmission . The pop top with the small included nipple makes it much easier to install into the transmission . Motul has an excellent reputation and the price is reasonable for the quality . I purchased enough to do the front differential also .

Glad I Tried It

I was hesitant to pay the cost in comparrison to other fluids. I'm glad I did; transmission on 07 BMW R1200 shifts like butter - smooth and quiet. Glad I tried it.

Good Alternative to OEM Oils

Used it in a 2014 Subaru Forester. Dealer wanted $700 for a 5 gallon pail of the Subaru Super Manual Transmission oil, so this was about the only GL5 compatible oil available without spending a fortune. Car shifts as good or better than with the factory oil. FYI, it's a 6 speed, I bough 4 quarts because the listed capacity was 3.5 quarts, but 3 quarts filled it up.

Highly recommended transmission oil for vehicles

Highly recommended and one of the best transmission and gear motor oils for vehicles to use if owners cannot obtain their OEM transmission oil. The only sticking point is the price as it is quite expensive as you normally need around 5 LTRs for a full replacement. I suppose it reflects the quality of the oil and from a quality brand.

Makes my trans feel like new.

As my transmission caught more and more miles of stop and go traffic and abuse it just didn't feel the same anymore and would try to fight me into gears. Drained out the old fluid and filled it with Motul and after a few hundred miles the trans feels better than it ever has in the last few years of owning the car.

Overall I like it

Gear 300 seems to improve shifting after prolonged hard driving, whereas before, shifting gears felt a little sloppy under the same conditions. The only downside is that it's harder to get into gear until the car warms up

To oil, or not to oil?

Used in the final drive of a Honda VFR1200 motorcycle. A less expensive oil wouldve been sufficient for the job but at only 240ml per axle refill, its not a big price to pay. Couple that with the oil specs; both GL4 and GL5 compatible and yellow metal safe, I think this is the perfect product for my purpose.
