Made in Western Australia..... Perfect design, made with stainless steel! Every other gecko branded bug zapper is Chinese crap! I bought the $60 one and it lasted 3 weeks and zapped 1 bug every 2 minutes! Starkey's bug zapper zappes at least 2 per second!!!!

On using this product the first night, it's bulb burnt itself out after a few hours. I thought, ok, dud bulb, it happens. I went and bought a replacement one (correct brand and model), and had the same experience again first night using it. It is clear it's the product. I would not recommend it and it is definitely not worth the price. Been a waste of both time and money.

Although unit worked pretty well while I had light output the one star rating is for the UV globe that comes with this product ( You know what I mean Starkey's! ). After the first night of use most of the UV output had decayed to an almost normal fluro looking output. By the second night the lamp gave up altogether. A shamefully low quality product at best.
Impressed with the quality and performance of this stainless steel zapper. Had a couple of plastic craps in the past. Finally, found something that is reliable. Happy with the 5 years warranty.

Expensive does not equate to quality in this instance. Bulb blew on the first night, right infront of me. Do I even bother getting a replacement bulb or will it kill that one too?
I suspect that Bunnings (Cairns) placed a returned item on the shelf as when the item was unpacked the brush was missing, and the "zapper" stopped working after 2 days. The advice yesterday (on return of the item) was that there was no more in stock yet today they advertise as "in stock"? Go figure.
Bought it for summer mosquitos, does a great job- until it fizzled out after three days. Had only been on for a couple of bourse ales before night. Super disappointing.
