I have the pH harmony Dehydrator, and the Protein Bond, Acid-free primer. They work great! I use them as a prep step under my gel base coat and it helps the manicure to last. I've tried these products on one hand under my base, and just the base on the other hand as an experiment. The side without these products always chips first! Great investment! Gelish has the very best Base Coat polish out there. I use it with every brand of Shellac polish. I have ridges and other nail bed imperfections and Gelish Foundation Base Coat provides a smooth foundation for my color. This step is critical not only for the smooth foundation it provides but causes the least amount of damage to your nail bed when removed. The Top coat is very good and provides a tough-hard surface. My issue is that these tend to goop up in the bottle after a bit.

This I received in my starter kit 3 years ago and am still using the samebottle! It has lasted through so many manis! I just bought another bottle because it was about time and I use this every time I do my nails. I feel like this really helps to get the bail bed ready for the polish to be laid down nice and thick and keeps my mani looking better longer. Highly recommend!

I like the gelish brand polish as well as OPI. I have a lot of both in my kit and I enjoy them both equally. It’s Beginner friendly and if you’re just starting out I think you’ll enjoy it as much as professionals love it too. There’re a lot of colors to choose from so go crazy.

This is definitely my favorite bond dehydrator out there. It works really well—I only apply it to the tips and middle of my nail to make my soak off go a bit quicker as I like to redo my nails every 2 weeks max. There’s a notable difference between where I put the bond dehydrator and where I didn’t when I soak in acetone. It’s wonderful and affordable and the bottle lasts forever!!!

I've tried using the but was not able to select that for review. It's seems like a good set to use a pH Bond which isn't something your typical gel application instructions provide, but honestly after using the kit for awhile I went back to my Gellen top and base coats. It seemed that the finished product didn't last as long. Peeling within 3 days instead of 7-10. Not worth the inflated cost.

I’m not sure what I would do without this. It came in a set I bought when I decided I wanted to learn to do my own gel nails, so I just followed the instructions without really knowing why this step was important - but now I realize how important it is to have a super clean, dehydrated base to make sure your nails stay on as long as possible. I haven’t found anything that works as well as the pH bond. Be careful, it’s liquid (not like other polishes or gels at all), and it spills out easily! I learned that the hard way.

The Gelish system is a go to. It works well any brand gel polish and has great lasting power! I switch over to doing my gel manicures at home this year after trying many local nails salons that rush the prep and gel application. My nails would chip or flake after 3 days. After buying all the things I would need to start handling a gel mani at home, my gel has lasted over 2 weeks with 0 chips or flaking using the Gelish system and Opi gel polish!

Of all the nail prep products that I have tried as a nail tech for 25+ years, these are my favorite! I never have any lifting with either hard gel, soft gel or acrylic, although I pretty much just stick to gel products now. Pairing these with the Gelish Structure gel will insure a perfect enhancement every time, whether it's an overlay on natural nails, over tips for extensions or as an extra layer of strength under gel polish, you just can't beat them!

As a 29 year veteran of acrylic sculptures and tips I switched to Gelish brand foundation and top coat to use at home after the world locked down. Using just these two products my natural nails have been able to grow out so well I actually have to cut them back so I can do embroidery. My nails were still on the weak side at first so I used two coats each but once I had unprocessed/virgin growth my nails took off. I also use the PH Bond and have never had better adhesion. They flex with my natural nails when they get wet and then dry so I don't get the curling at the free edge corners that trap dirt and icky stuff. I'll never go back.
