I have very sensitive skin. I also have lupus and have the red butterfly mask. My skin is very dry but since using La Mer is finally feels soft and the redness has greatly improved. The night balm feels amazing. A little goes a long way. I love using the tool as I spread the balm on my face. It's smoothing and relaxing. I now want to try the Gennaissance eye creme and serum. I have the Gennaissance lotion and it's a miracle! Thank you La Mer!

Decided to splurge and purchase the Genaissance night balm. What a wonderful product. My skin looks and feels hydrated and is starting to feel firmer in the morning! A little goes a long way, I believe this jar will last 3-4 months. I only wish LaMer offered refills for this beautiful jar. I have only been using La Mer for 9 months and I have had many compliments on how beautiful my skin looks from young and older people and I am in my 60's!!!

I’m going to purchase - in just one week, I’ve got visible results: smooth and more even skin, fine lines are reduced, and skin FEELS better overall. Love how rich and thick this cream, amazing texture and a tiny amount goes a long way. Prefer this scent to other La Mer product scents though none in this line bother me. Enthralled with a product that does SO MUCH while you sleep - I’m convinced it actually helps me get a better night’s rest somehow.

am really torn how to rate this product. On the one hand, the texture is gorgeous - an incredibly silky balm that leaves skin feeling and looking hydrated in the morning. On the other hand, for the £400 plus price I would have anticipated longer term anti ageing benefits. After using for almost a month, I am not seeing any benefits other than increased hydration. I have a suspicion that it caused a few breakouts on my forehead, so even for dry skins this product should be used with caution.
I got this product with a few other things. I was not allowed to sample it. My skin is great condition. But this balm broke me out and made my skin itchy within 3 uses. I was informed it would make my skin really glow and amazing. The opposite is true. Dull, Spots and itchy skin. I regret spending this amount of money on a product that will now be thrown in the back of the cupboard. La Mer used to be a great range but now am not so sure.
I used only sample. This Night balm its really amazing. It gives soft smooth skin overnight. I hope so when I buy large size then it will clear my blemishes and dark spots. I will buy this product for the rest of my life if it continues to be in service. I read many positive reviews so I thinks so its worth to buy it. Price its too high.
I suggest use every other day or twice a week if you have sensitive skin as daily use made me break out in small bumps. Decreased use to twice a week & started seeing results, no bumps. Great for treating pigmentation and smoothing texture on dark skin- takes a while to see results though, approx 5/6wks of consistent use. A little goes a long way, excellent value for money. Have repurchased this more than the serum.
Sensitive skin, decided to try this and the result was much worse than expected. Moreover, it makes my skin feel unstable and didn't notice any difference in terms of anti-aging/renewal. Absolutely not worth the money when the result is worse than using the regular creme de la mer.
I have been using it for about four nights (tried a sample). Skin seems more hydrated/smoother with better texture. Undecided if I will purchase or stick with original creme when heavy moisture is desired. The only thing I do not like about it is the scent. To me, it is not pleasant and resembles a stale/maple type smell. I still have several nights left of my sample (a little goes a long way) so I can see how my skin reacts before purchasing.
Unfortunately I had to return this balm after only 2 nights of use. The first night resulted in a burning/stinging sensation around my mouth and chin. Same sensation the 2nd night only to wake to a red face covered in tiny bumps. This was the only new product that I introduced to my nightly LaMer regimen and I’m bummed it didn’t work for me. This is also the only LaMer product I’ve ever had a reaction to and I’ve been a loyal LaMer user for over 10 years. Even though this didn’t work for me, hopefully it will work for you.
