I bought this item partly with a gift certificate and the rest on my credit card as I really wanted the Jump Starter for my wife... It has an ultra strong light and the ability to jump start most any vehicle now on the road. The fact that it can start cars and trucks may save someone's life if they were broke down...

This is my third jump starter (the other two were Chinese eBay types) and it is by far the best made. It feel the 'right' weight, is easy to use, and in my rough test using it to run a 12 volt fridge it's Amp Hour rating seems genuine. Only 4 stars because I feel that at this price point a decent case and a 240v charge cable really should be standard. But the unit itself is a 5.

I was able to start 3.0L V6 cold diesel with 10V on battery with only half charged booster. Very solid product. Additional features are making it great for long trips in winter and backup camping electricity storage.

Simply put it's a great bit of kit. Has plenty of punch and unlike the last one I had boosts more than once on a flat flat battery.It is expensive and 4 stars because for that price you'd think you'd get a case and the AC adaptor as well but they are extras.Beside that it's a great investment and given I've needed to jump 3 cars in the past 2 months who didn't have anything it's worth it.

This is the second NOCO Genius Boost product that we purchased. The first is the larger 4000A model. This smaller model is not used as intensively as the first, but so far, it has been flawless. Very small size, lots of boost power. No more suitcase sized boosters that need constant recharging. The only think missing on this booster is the battery voltage gauge (which is available on the larger model), which would make this unit absolutely perfect.
This is a great Jump Start unit, also has a USB point to charge other devices if needed.I recommend getting the zip up case with it, to keep it protected while stored in the car.
Great portable device but realised when using it the battery in the vehicle can't be dead flat, this device is so versatile and charges phones very quickly, the light is handy also, really need to purchase a separate tool bag to protect device, otherwise happy with noco boost 2000
eBay has asked me to review this product after 2 weeks which is very difficult as i have not needed to use it. So from charging it up everything seems to be working fine and i can only go from watching videos of it on Youtube and from them it seems excellent.
I used this to start a 4.2 litre petrol engine when the battery was completely dead. There are safety features built in such as checking the polarity is correct, and because the battery was dead it didn't work in regular mode, had to press the manual button to override the safeguards and then everything was fine.
