I spent hours trawling through review sites to determine which pressure washer to get. I purchased my Gerni 5300 for $499 and couldn't be happier!I bought my first high pressure washer to clean my light driveway which marks easily, and the Gerni did an amazing job. I have about 35sqm of driveway and it took me about 2.5 hours to get through it all.The jet nozzle has a rotating / oscilating head which means you get through a larger area in a smaller amount of time. The steel braided hose is super high quality and doesn't kink at all. The overall build quality is top notch.

Just buy yourself the Autobrush which is very good quality and has built-in swivel; this works well after foaming and if you need to add water just press the trigger. Consider Gerni Rotary Detergent Brush if youb need it for spot cleaning as its not swivelling but has rotary brushes inside. Bought this Gerni 5300 today from Bunnings after researching pressure washers and what to get for home domestic use. I already used another Gerni 4000 from a friend so got a fair idea what to look for. This Gerni 5300 is a heavier unit, but way more powerful than the 4000. Assembly was straight forward, except I have a problem with the 18mm screw for the Hose Hook. The screw head was too soft and it got stripped after a few turns of the screw driver. I ended up replacing the screws with my own, problem solved.Concrete washing was much faster. The patio cleaner head is good for a pre-wash before using the jet spray nozzle.

I wanted a cold pressure washer to replace my 25 year old deceased Stihl pressure washer. This one seems to fit the bill, with similar specs. Like nearly all offerings today, its made to a price, and is a generic washer done up in the appropriate company colours. It comes with a reasonable range of accessories, but for me, 95% of the time it will be configured with the standard lance and spray head. One thing i did was to move the hose holder up onto the handle so as to not have to wind the hose as tightly for storage, or risk it dragging on the ground. I bought this Gerni 5300 to clean the disgusting filthy (blackened) pavers around my Unit. This machine is outstanding & the patio attachment works an absolute treat. I'm a 79yr pensioner & the job was effortless ... you just need to allow the washer & attachment to do the work! I'm also glad that I opted to get the bigger unit because it has great pressure for an job. I can highly recommended Gerni ... very impressive!
Was purchased as a Xmas gift, and lasted 10 weeks. I was genuinely excited after being upgraded from my 12 year old stihl pressure cleaner (that I thankfully kept to finish the jobs this failed on). After a few weeks of use I thought perfect, just what I needed and than it stopped. I thought maybe being in the sun, but wouldn’t turn back on. Left it till the next day and worked again. After a couple more uses I could here it making noises as if it was short on water supply, but used it with both mains and recycled water supply, and than it would stop. The final straw was not being able to even rinse off a mid sized suv before a good Sunday clean. Packed it away and pulled out old trusty stihl. Credit to bunnings for the refund. I bought this Gerni, thinking its more powerful than my K2 Karcher, but its very similar power and efficiency. After three days of use, the machine started to leak, later found out the o-ring connecting the power hose broken. Also the machine keeps making suction noise everything it stops, very annoying. Very disappointed, thinking Australian brand would be of good quality.
I bought this today after a long research on pressures washer. The gerni 5300 fits my budget ($449). After setting it up i was ready to go, my first wash was my car. I was so amazed how powerful it is, even bought the super foam sprayer nozzle for a snow foam wash. Overall l have no complaints at all. This pressure washer looks solid, no cheap plastics, no leaks, anti kink hose, and a really long hose plus a 7 year warranty (5 years if you don’t register online in their website). I highly recommend this product to anyone who is unsure what to get but wants a good quality and durable pressure washer without breaking the bank.
Quite impressed with this washer overall. The build quality is very sturdy and nothing about it feels cheap. The 9m long hose is perfect for washing a car as you don't need to move the unit around. There's plenty of small details like hooks for the power cable, and small holders for storing the hose nozzle attachments.The pressure washer itself is very quiet. I found that the sound of the water hitting a surface was louder than the machine itself. Highly recommend this washer and it's definitely worth the slightly hefty price tag.
The Gerni 5300 is the first model in the range that comes with 7 years warranty. I chose the 5300 over the 7000 as I preferred no hose reel which could break and this is better value. Rolling up the hose is actually quite easy as it doesn't have a 'memory' compared to normal rubber hoses. This unit feels high quality and the steel braided hose really does not kink at all. If the hose is twisted you can pull on it and the unit won't fall over as it's decently heavy. It's super quiet to the point that the noise from water coming out of the lance is actually louder than the machine! The only gripe is that I have to buy the auto nozzle to get a wider spray pattern for the car. But the Gerni accesories are actually well priced so it's not a big deal.
