I bought this about 10 days ago from Shaver Shop on sale. I was initially a bit hesitant about the high price but I have a GHD straightener and I know that their products always live up to the hype. I am so pleased to say that this dryer does, too! It is hard to explain how soft and amazing your feels after using this dryer. In fact it is so good that I don't want to let my hair air dry anymore. The best part is that the medium heat setting is not too hot, this is crucial in keeping hair healthy. My hair never looks fried or frizzy after using this. I had read some other reviews online about the nozzle not functioning properly; mine does not do this, everything works perfectly. Can't recommend this dryer highly enough, you will never look back!

At the grand old age of 51, yet another cheapo hairdryer bit the dust. I decided to do a bit of research. I looked online at Which? And also spoke to my hairdresser. He suggested that with my fine hair that I needed a dryer with a bit of oompf so I settled on this one. It was in the Black Friday offers, plus I had some JL vouchers, so it would have been rude not to. It's just a really good dryer, nice long lead, plenty of oompf, yet manages to also be one of the most quiet dryers I've owned. It was a bit of an investment for me but I am very pleased with it. I don't think it's ionic, could be wrong, but that might be something to check if you particularly wanted that feature. Long may this dryer last me!

I am so disappointed with this hairdryer. It's damaged my hair as it has made it so dry (the only thing that has changed in my haircare routine is the dryer!). It isn't the easiest to use with the buttons being exactly where you hold the dryer (so often change settings unintentionally). It is quite long and bulky to use when you have the nozzle or diffuser on. Seems to take much longer to dry my hair - even using it without the nozzle for 'fast drying'. I love my hair straighteners from GHD so had felt confident purchasing this dryer but wish I hadn't as it was an expensive mistake! I've given it 2 stars as ultimately it does dry your hair so technically functions.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks. I love it! I've never bought a 'decent' hair dryer before and have had cheap Boots own or Babyliss basic versions. I didn't see the need for an expensive Dyson hairdryer and haven't been that fussed when I had a go with one. This seemed like a good compromise. Very glad I did. The best hairdryer I ever had.
What a great product!Yes a little more pricey compared to other hair dryers but you can tell you paying for what you get.The quality of the product is wonderful, it make my hair feel softer to touch after blowing drying it compared to other.you can smell you hair burning with other hair dryers where as the ghd it’s just so much better.The only negative of this product is the weight of it - for some people I think it will be a little heavy after a while. - hopefully with progression its becomes lighter.

I love the GHD air so much, this is my second purchase of it! Only because I dropped my old one from a height onto a hard floor and it bounced down some steps and broke. I had had it for over five years though and it was working perfectly until then. The new one is as amazing as the old one. My daughter has had hers for over eight years and it's still going strong. They are incredible for those with frizzy hair and really do dry your hair more smoothly than any other hairdryer I have tried. My gym has Dyson hairdryers and I still think GHD are better and obviously much better value as well. With JL you also get the two year guarantee which is great.
