I use this brush to blowdry and style my curtain bangs. It’s the perfect size to get the little end flicks and the brush gives just the right amount of resistance. I use it with my GHD Helios blow dryer and I get great, long lasting volume.

Lovely great long handle. So if you have long hair, you're not getting your hair stuck and tangled to the handle. The barrell nicely grips yet glides smoothly through the hair too. Really overly pleased about a brush. I have fine hair but lots of it (so people think it's thick)

I’d never bought GHD brushes before, frankly I thought they were unnecessarily expensive. How wrong was I!!! Simply the best hair brush I have ever owned; ergonomic, gives great volume, easy to clean. I will never use other cheap brands… you get what you pay for!

Why or why didn't I treat myself to this years ago? Love it! I have short strong stubborn hair. This glides through the hair, no snagging. Lovely long handle so easier to manage for those blow dries where you need to twist and turn the handle. Excellent root lift now. Was so impressed immediately treated myself to the No. 1 version, which is perfect for my fringe. All in all I have achieved better blow dries with these products. Just wish I had bought them years ago, would have saved many a heartache. Also comes in a lovely presentation box, so would be an ideal gift.
I have slightly above shoulder length hair and find this size perfect to blow dry with. It has a wonderful hand feel, and never pulls. I didn’t realise how ineffective my previous brush was until I swapped to this. Love it!
As far as radial brushes go... this is one of the best brands I’ve used and I’m not a huge GHD fan. After using so many brushes and so many brands I always go back to my GHD brush set. I’ve brought them as presents and I really do love them! I guess the only things I dislike about them most are personal preference; they become (after hours and hours of use) very uncomfortable to hold. I’ve found other brush designs to be more ergonomic to use. I’ve also found that even after a few moments of use ur hands can get quite clammy as it’s a solid non vented handle. My biggest thing though is that I feel as though it cools down to fast and doesn’t heat up fast enough. I keep mine on a heated metal plate to keep them warm. I’ve been using the ceramic hair brushes for years and loved them, but the bristles on this new one are not the same. They are much softer and don’t grip my hair as much as the older version. I have curly hair which i straighten and need good grip to create tension when blow drying. This one just doesn’t do the job so I’ll be using my old one until I find a better product. GHD why have you changed the bristles ?!?
I have been suffering with hair loss due to Folliculitis and my hair has thinned considerably. I commented to my new hair stylist that I'd been finger drying my hair to avoid too much pulling of my hair using my present brushes which were not GHD brushes but ceramic vented. I was only finishing off my styling with them. She used this brush to style my hair after a cut and colour and my hair never got tangled up in the brush. She suggested I bought a size 2 which I did. Very happy with it and have thrown away my old brushes!
Using this brush type has finally given me a halfway decent chance of creating the same syyle my hairdresser does on my head. The. Rushes are lightweight delicate but really do give the loft and volume it says
It’s effective, taming the hair. But the size is too big for shoulder length hair. One size smaller will be good. Can’t really grip the hair well, so I need to use a smaller roller brush first then use this to enhance.
