I bought this because I needed a good quality hair curler. I didn’t know the many different types of curls until I saw GHD’s extensive range. They helped me discover which type of curl suited my hair. This was a great purchase and I use it almost everyday because this wand gives me a luscious long lasting curl. Love it! 💝

Brilliant Wand

I researched a lot of different wands and could not decide for a long while but I kept coming back to the GHD line as I have used it for many years and have never been disappointed with any of their products both for quality and for performance.I ultimately decided to go for the Classic Wave Wand as the barrel size was more suitable to accommodate for my very long hair and allow the type of curls I was looking for.As usual, when the product arrived, it was swift and very well packaged. It included a very thoughtful little guide about some different curls that were creatable with the wand. All excellent as usual!Incredible brand, would recommend to anyone. The price is worth it for what you get, a very long lasting product that you can rely on.

Brilliant product that really works

The curve is an amazing product - very easy to use and extremely effective. It took me a couple of attempts to get used to doing the back of the head, but with a bit of practice, I am delighted with the results. Perhaps it depends on hair type, but after using the product for two weeks, I can honestly say the waves barely drop out at all and, using a silk pillow, are still pretty much perfect the next day. I cannot recommended this product enough.

Curl does not hold

I bought this wand because I'd heard that it made lasting waves. I have fine, slippery hair and I've tried 3 or 4 much cheaper wands trying to get a wave that would stay more than a few hours or so. I took the plunge and spent the enormous amount of money to buy the ghd classic wave wand. Disappointingly the curl dropped even faster than all the other wands I've tried. It was literally straight again after about 20 minutes, even with all kinds of curl hold products I tried.The quality and design of this is lovely, and the wave it creates is really lovely too, but if you have fine hair please don't waste your money like I did!I gave the wand to my friend who has course, curly hair and it works fine for her...although the wave still doesn't last as long as you'd ... MoreI bought this wand because I'd heard that it made lasting waves. Disappointing

I have been using GHD for decades now. This particular curler is a total disappointment. I actually purchased it without looking deeply into the features. Was traveling and trust ghd blindly so justvordered it. It doesn't have a clop to hold hair so a disaster for short hair. The three finger glove is protection only for three fingers, a novice like me keeps using the other two aswell and it burns. The heat levels are all great but if you could add a clip on the product itself to hold the hair, it will make it easier to use for laymen like us.

Great purchase

I bought this curler because I wanted loose effortless waves. Every curler I tried before this one either gave me tight curls and curls that fell out. But…..this curler changed it all for me! The curls lasted ALL day, they were loose and dreamy! Despite how pricey it is, it is worth the price and I am sure it will stand the test of time! I am usually very cautious about spending a lot of money on something like this, but despite this curler being on the pricier side, it’s so worth it The quality of it feels good and sturdy. It comes with protective gloves which is useful because of how hot the wand gets.

Great wand

Having used this wand a couple of time since I got it for Christmas I must say that it is great. Didn't take me too long to curl all my hair which is long in length.The curls/waves stayed in for most of the day although my hair is very fine and smooth so by the end of the day despite putting on hairspray they had fallen out and I was left with a few kinks, but I think that is due to my particular hair type. Next time I will be trying it with the ghd curl hold spray to see if that helps.The wand is very smooth and so sometimes I had difficulty keeping my hair wrapped around the wand as it would slip down if I wasn't holding/pulling my hair tight enough.For this reason I have since bought the GHD soft curl tong which have the spring lever to hold the hair in ... MoreHaving used this wand a couple of time since I got it for Christmas I must say that it is great. It does what it claims to do. If you are looking for loose, smooth and natural classic waves, this is the right tool.Very easy to use, even for beginners.Having that nozzle on top of the wand, compared with other hair wands, from my experience its easier and safer to use without burning your face and your fingers and I managed quite well without the protection glove as well.My waves lasted actually more than a couple of days. I applied on my hair before curling it a wave creating sea foam and/or sea salt spray. After I used the curler I also sprayed a brushable hairspray.Also, before using the curler I applied on my hair a heat protection spray . But overall I consider its a quick process and managed to get my hair ready in just a few minutes. Also, a great feature, as soon as you plug it and press start, it goes so incredible quick for the wand to be ready to use.As I said at the begining, I totally recommend this wand, just be sure what kind of curls you want to have, its definitely not for Shirley Temple looks or for big strong round curls but for more discreet ones with a natural styled look.

So fantastic - exactly the tool I've been looking for

From the very first time I used it this is exactly what I've wanted my older, cheaper, crappier curling tools to be. I have mid-long, thick hair and this gives me instant natural beautiful waves. Doesn't need to be brushed out after curling, I just briefly run fingers through my hair and I'm done. I section my hair using clips, spray with the GHD curl spray, then hold each section loosely around the barrel for about 8 seconds.
