I have lightly curly and dry and hair and thought this would be a great tool to quickly sort my hair in the mornings. The results were just not good enough, despite sectioning and taking time over each piece, my hair only ever looked as good as if it had been vaguely blow dried. Not what I was looking for and not polished enough for work or going out. Also the device kept getting switched off as the power button is on the handle. Silly design flaw. I sent it back.

I also like that you are less likely to accidentally burn yourself with this design. Included is a Great travel and storage bag which is heat proof. Compared to other stores, Shaver shop had the best price and shipping was free and incredibly fast even during the busiest time of year. So pleased with my purchase. Styling my hair has become much easier.

Hi I commonly do Brazilian Knots and have realized that the GHD glide is not a good product for the hair type. It does not heat up eonough to provide a smooth glide through the hair to straighten also having the knots you can't use the glide closer to the roots. However, the biggest issue is that it does not heat up to the level to enable a smooth pass through the hair demonstrating that it has been straightened. It's just more of a hassle then the initial reason why I purchased it to make my life easier and conveniant but it's actually added more time to getting ready and it's rather painful therefore I stopped using it after the 2nd use due to the inconveniance it has caused.

I bought this about a month ago and I'm really happy with it. My hair is very fine and I don't have much of it so when I moved to tropical Queensland it just went crazy frizzy! The hot brush really takes the frizz out of it and gets it to sit nicely without taking all the volume out like a straightener would. It heats up really quickly but it's not too hot for my fine hair, though I don't leave it in contact as long as the instructions say to, I just run it through a couple of times as if I was using a regular brush. All in all very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others
I bought this product during the black Friday sales and its amazing. Straightens hair much faster and more conveniently.My only issues were that it releases smoke. I'm not sure what the cause was cz it was doing it even when it wasn't touching my hair. A great every day product tho...
I bought this item recently. My hair has naturally become wavy after being pin straight for years. So I'm loving the waves ..and this brush is perfect as it smoothens the frizz makes it slightly straight with a nice curl or wave.If you want super straight hair....the flat iron is the one to buy.
This is a great quality product with a beautiful travel bag. My hair is quite thick and frizzes in humid conditions, but the Glide smoothing brush smooths my hair in minutes and it lasts for days. The finish is more like a sleek blowdry rather than the dead straight finish from a straightener, which I prefer. Dealing with Shaver Shop was easy and the product arrived quickly. I would definitely recommend this product.
I bought this a few weeks ago after it was recommended for me by my hairdresser and I was pretty sceptical about how it would work. My hair is very thick and frizzy and medium/long so it normally takes 45 mins to straighten. The ghd glide brush straightens my hair in 15 mins. It was way smoother than with my normal straightener and lasts all week (I straighten my hair 1-2 times a week to minimise damage). I absolutely love the brush and would recommend it for all hair types. (Note that it straightens your hair really well but I would recommend a flat iron of you want your hair absolutely pin straight).
Nice and easy to use. Not too heavy. Quick to heat up. Glided through hair without any tugging. I had a cheaper brush which did a good job but there was some tugging of hair. This brush is so smooth with no tugging.
My hair isn't even very curly but the Glide does not straighten it, it doesn't even get rid of the outside frizzy layer. My hair just looks flat, limp and still frizzy. Worst product I have ever bought. Such a waste of money, I should have rather added another R4000 and bought myself the new duet. My ghd straightener which I've had for over 20 years is the best thing I've ever bought, so the Glide makes me feel extra disappointed.
