I have been using the GHD Mini Hair Straightener for a couple of months now. They are very easy to use which is important as I suffer with arthritis in both hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders so my mobility is impaired. As the straighteners have a 360degree swivel cord, I am able to do my own hair. They are so quick to heat up and smooth on hair. Don't be fooled into thinking mini means tiny, they are just as good on longer hair if you need a more lightweight product than the full size, they are just so much more manageable. Brilliant for anyone who is perhaps a first time purchaser or is new to hair straightening.

As expected from GHD outstanding straighteners does exactly as it says on the tin or box in this case. Heats up very quickly, glides. Through my hair leaving it beautifully straight on the beautifully smooth plates. Love the quilted zip up pouch and mat that comes with the straighteners. I had a GHD many years ago and can now afford to purchase another. Hello dear friend!

I'm turning 50 this year and had long hair until I was 48. Up until that point, I never did anything with my hair, never styled it, had no idea how. When I had it cut to shoulder length, we were still in partial lock down so I bought straighteners and curlers and practiced and learnt how to style it. I have the Platinum straightener and I do think it moves more smoothly over my hair but I needed this thinner one as my hair is now a little shorter. I like to create curl with it and it really does work well. It's worth the investment but I'd be curious to know if the technology was the same as the Platinum one or not.
I bought my new slimline GHDs 2 months ago after having my hair cut short. My regular width GHDs were a wee bit wide fir the intricate areas but the smaller set do a perfect job. They are so versatile! I love them! My bigger set will be fine for when I decide to grow my hair longer again but it’s good to know that I own the tools to complete the job well, regardless of my current hairstyle.
I bought this a month ago as I struggled to find straighteners for short hair. I’d heard all the hype about GHD’s but hadn’t invested in any until now….I can’t believe how fabulous these are! They heat up really quickly, can be used in any position, really long cord and really kind to my bleached hair. I thoroughly recommend them.
Having suffered from hair loss, as my hair has been growing back I have been trying to keep it straight and tidy, using original GHD straighteners, and suffering burns. I ordered the mini version and they are brilliant for my short hair, no burn, just easy neat hair which I am going to keep short, but just in case I change my mind I will keep my originals. Nothing can beat GHDs, I also have a GHD brush for blow drying which is the only one I can use. Buy what you know works GHD
After 13 years, my previous GHD straightener stopped working, so I decided to replace it with the same make. I am disappointed with this new replacement. It definitely doesn’t feel the quality of my previous one, and it also doesn’t seem to get to the same temperature. It pulls the hair in my fringe, and even though I’ve got short hair I have to go over it twice. I am going to take it to my hairdresser the next time I have it cut, to see what she thinks. My previous model also came with a lovely heatproof bag, this one only comes with a hard plastic cover to protect the end of the straighteners. Don’t feel that these are now worth the money.

These are brilliant for me, spot on for my fringe. I'd recommend them for hair like mine and would buy these again, unless my hair maginally grows again after my awful hair loss (after years of curly long hair) specialists can't help me, so these do the trick to help me out and make me feel better about how it looks. Small issues, the open close hinge at the end can occasionally catch the skin on your hand and pinches. Easy to watch out for that though, probably the way I hold them. Changeable heat setting would make this so good but not the biggest issue. Something that could possibly be to look into s that the last couple of sets I have had occasionally wont switch on when the button is pushed. Try again and it comes on. Very odd. I wonder if anyone else has had that issue? I'd still buy them again and already recommend them to my friends!! Really pleased with my choice.
I bought my new straighteners about three weeks ago. To be honest I have been using my original straighteners, which have served me well for the last 11 years. They are still going strong, but I decided I probably deserved an upgrade. So pleased with my new ones and they are easier o use and so my hair is done in no time at all!
