Lightweight efficiency Advanced composite frame and Advanced SL composite fork save a combined 200 grams compared to previous generation. Updated geometry includes a lower bottom bracket, longer reach, and steeper head tube angle for improved acceleration and climbing. Tuned compliance A lowered seatstay junction with smaller diameter tubes absorbs road shocks and vibrations. The Contact SLR XR D-Fuse carbon handlebar and D-Fuse seatpost work as a system to optimise compliance without sacrificing stiffness while cornering, sprinting and climbing. Adaptable to the terrain A flip chip on the rear dropout adjusts the wheelbase: short for quicker handling, or long for improved stability at speed. The long setting also allows for larger diameter tyres up to 53mm. You can choose the included D-Fuse SLR composite seatpost for maximum compliance, or switch to a 30.9mm round or dropper post.Fast gravel is fun gravel. The race bike of choice for Giant gravel racing pros is superlight, smooth over rugged roads, and adaptable to all types of conditions and riding styles. Race it, ride it, love it.

Great bike, but a couple of issues. The CX2 hookless wheels do not have an approved/compatible 38mm or tires wider than 40mm (Giant has a narrow list of approved tires that will work with the hookless wheel system. Although the bike has hidden fender mounts, with 40mm tires, there is almost no clearance for fender unless sizing down to a 38mm tire or flipping the chip, but unfortunately there are no 38mm tires that are approved for the CX2 hookless wheels. The bike itself is excellent, its not a mountain bike with drop bar nor roadbike with wide tire clearance. More like a light weight robust endurance bike with slightly more upright geometry and wide tire clearance.

Bike arrived this week and is beautiful. Only complaint so far is the assembly instructions. Some kind of step-by-step guide to putting it together would have been useful, especially as some of the components are relatively new e.g. proprietary carbon seat post inserts. There is a generic "owners manual" which seems to apply to all Giant bikes so lacks specific info on the components of this particular model. Some of the info in the manual is wrong or out of date e.g. the torque values for setting the stem and seatpost. Fortunately the torque values are marked on the components themselves but it's obviously confusing when try to crossrefence those with the ones on the manual. Some of the torque values marked on the components are hard to read - see attached photo, I ... MoreBike arrived this week and is beautiful. Only complaint so far is the assembly instructions. Some of the torque values marked on the components are hard to read - see attached photo, I had to take this photo and zoom in to see the percentage point making 55Nm 5.5Nm. Some of the other paperwork that came with the manual was wrong e.g. there was a sheet describing a Praxis crank, but this bike has the Shimano GRX crank (I think the praxis was on the 2020 model?). There were some components and bits that came with the bike that I'm not sure what to do with e.g. some clear plastic stickers and some long black plastic strips (probably these are frame protectors of some kind, but where is the manual saying exactly where to place them?), some little bits of rubber that seem to be for plugging holes in the frame but not clear where they go (some seem to be spares in case you lose the ones already in the frame, but not others) and a small piece of yellow plastic with holes in. Front and back reflectors are provided, but again no instructions on how to attach them.I worked it all out eventually, by trial and error, googling, etc. but a clear, step-by-step assembly guide could have saved me a few hours.Going to take the bike out for first ride tomorrow ...

I have recently purchased the 2022 revolt 0 so I can tell you a little about it. It is absolutely amazing in terms of being lightweight and fast, I love the grx and components on it and could not have made a better choice. The only problem is I had to swap out dfuse because of chips and cracks that the bike is prone to. The only problems I've had are with the paint itself as I didn't had it for a week and it was already damaged pretty good on chainstay. There are a couple light scratches and I am hoping giant can do something about that considering I've barely had the bike and provide some service or paint repair as I really do love this bike.

Unfortunately these bikes have a massive design flaw which is causing cracks in the frame, I'm awaiting my third frame in under 500 miles! Issue is caused by a poorly designed metal wedge at the rear of the D Fuse seatpost! A whole group on Facebook dedicated to this issue and so many people suffering the same issue.Giant recommendeds 7NM for the seatpost but this is way to high but cracks also happening at 5NM! The cracking seems to be solved by removing Giants D Fuse post and fitting your own 30.9 round which removes the awful metal wedge, but feel Giant need to recognise this and issue a 30.9 at point of sale.In all a great bike to ride but the quality of this bike is absolutely shocking, I spent thousands on this bike based on reviews but with two frames now ... MoreUnfortunately these bikes have a massive design flaw which is causing cracks in the frame, I'm awaiting my third frame in under 500 miles! I have owned the Giant Revolt 0 for 6 months and covered around 600 miles on it.This is my first gravel bike and I have found it to be more capable off-road than I expected, but not quite as quick on the road as i was expecting. Having said that I have fitted 32mm road tyres and done some long road rides on it, the low gearing and added comfort was appreciated. Small sacrifice of additional weight and shorter reach compared to road bike.My size L weighed around 9KG with XTR spds fitted. For general gravel riding I switched out the stock tyres straight away for 35mm Continental Terraspeed, which was a straightforward change and provides better grip off-road and lower rolling resistance on road.I also switched the 11-34 cassette for 11-32 to provide smaller ... MoreI have owned the Giant Revolt 0 for 6 months and covered around 600 miles on it.This is my first gravel bike and I have found it to be more capable off-road than I expected, but not quite as quick on the road as i was expecting. Bars are nice and wide for control off-road.The Revolt is excellent for long mixed terrain rides, very much at the road end of the gravel spectrum. There are not many options for 2x gravel bikes, the Revolt ticks that box. I plan to adapt it for cyclocross racing and also some bike packing in the future.Overall highly recommend.
Love the bike: it's light, can fit mega wide tires, excellent value, and has tons of mounts. With fast rolling gravel tires, it feels almost as quick as my road bike, but with more comfort and more stability off road. I'm not very interested in light MTB riding with my gravel bike, so I think this is the perfect gravel bike! It feels like a future proof bike and I'm definitely replacing my road bike with this. My only complaint is Giant's customer service.
I was considering upgrading to a new bike and the ability to ride off the busy roads seems appealing. We have plenty of dirt and gravel roads in Oklahoma. The bikes in the stable are the 2021 Giant Trance Advanced 1 and Eddy Merckx EMX 5 for the road. I can say this is a do-it bike and having the mountain bike for trail riding covers all angles here.Impressions.1. Comfortable riding position2. Components are top notch3. Knight Shield is perfect for dirty conditions.4. Gearing is spot on for up to the 6% grades I have seen so far.5. I changed out the seat post for Thompson elite
First impression was this bike is quick, light and responsive. Very nice handling and solid over rough terrain. Two issues. The stock tires were noisy and had clumsy handling. Quickly replaced with better tires and they were easy to set up on these wheels. The other issue is the seat post clamp. First time I adjusted the seat post height, half of the clamp fell down the seat tube. Yes it was just a nuisance to fix but doesn't seem like the most thought out design. Also, it would be nice to have a quick release seat post clamp for those of us that travel with our bikes!
Have had the Revolt Advanced 0 for 8 weeks. Ow and have covered over 1,000 miles on both tarmac, firetrack and heavier trails. The bike out the box weighed 300gms more than detailed for the medium, no issue with this; purely included for reference.I swapped out the stock saddle and bar tape and replaced with my Brooks Swallow and matching honey bar tape, so cannot comment on seat or tape comfort. The pearlescent green is very dark, verging on black and is stunning. This bike is exceptionally comfortable, both on road and off, the drop on the slightly flared bars are for me a great place to ride and also afford a more controlled grip when descending on loose fast gravel. The stock carbon wheels are light and so far have handled all that have been asked of them. The ... MoreHave had the Revolt Advanced 0 for 8 weeks. (It wasn't set up right out the box)The frame as stated has 3 bottle cage options which is great for longer trips or bike packing.Only gripe I have with the original set up is the stock tyres are terrible. They might be fast rolling on road, but ask them to handle wet grass or mud and it just becomes a slipfest. As for puncture resistance they offer none. I have now swapped them out for Specialized tyres and they are a different level. All in all I would recommend this bike for its all round ride quality and level of specification at an all round great price.
Sizing - I'm 179cm tall on a medium frame. I needed to have a longer stem installed to accomodate my height.Tyres - after my 3rd ride the rear Maxxis Velocita on road surfaces only, the tyre just ripped open the outer casing. Upon investigation there was not a direct puncture and no sealant came through to plug any hole. Air was lost though and the tyre did deflate. Thankfully and very gratefully my LBS replaced the tyre without charge, but did say they see this happen frequently on this tyre and they keep spares on hand just in case. They recommended i change the tyres to a more superior tyre at $100 per tyre! ouch !Despite this, the ride on the bike itself is quite amazing. It's fast, agile and responsive.
