Bought this card to rebuild a budget PC for Folding@Home. So I have no comments about use for gaming, this is strictly a compute-bound GPU. Is seems to be very solid for that, since it has been processing at 95-99% capacity for about 45 days now, and no issues at all. Temperature seems to max out between 57 - 59 degrees C., and just stays there while working.

Sent it back to Gigabyte because I was past 30 days. They found no error with the product on their end of things, which is a bummer because their RMA/Warranty setup is pretty slick and was easy to follow. I should have it here in a day or so now. I predict same failure and a headache from there. I'm trying to figure out what else it could be my end of things, but two dif motherboards (whole towers actually), multiple monitors/hdmi wiring changes, and about 2 hours of trial and error troubleshooting, the only variable that is consistent in the crash is the HDMI-2 on the graphics card being hooked up. This GTX 1650 is a perfect entry level card with everything you need and nothing you don’t. The card is being used for a live streaming setup with a capture card as well and has no issues finishing the job it is given to do. It is also one of the only cards on the shelf with 2 HDMI ports which are perfect if you have monitors you would like to reuse, and one display port for a newer monitor. This card is quiet and runs efficiently under lighter loads. In conclusion, if you don’t do a lot of gaming but might want to have the ability, this is a great card to get at a low entry cost.

I had a PNY Geforce 750 TI for a good number of years and needed an upgrade that was not going to break the bank at the time of purchase, and this card was the answer. Purchased as an open-box item at the time, this card showed marked improvements when it came to games and the 4GB over the 750 TI's 2GB allowed me to play a game I wanted to try for a while. I had this card in my machine for a month before I gave it to my brother who plays more up-to-date games and needed a replacement for his GTX 760. I got a different, older, and more powerful card to replace the GTX 1650 I gave him, but that is not a knock against the performance of this GPU. I highly recommend this GPU if you need a solid up-to-date card to play some of the more recent games.
I used to have a one fan GTX 750, worked well for the years I had it. I spoke to a buddy of mine since I needed a stronger card to use a Vr headset. He recommended a 1650 and well I love it.It’s not loud in the slightest, maybe with the exception of it pushing wind flow hard but that only lasts about 10 seconds at most. I’m finally able to play AC: Syndicate at a much higher quality, along with my computer not heating up as fast.
I scored a great deal on a store bought HP desktop. It has a great processor (Ryzen 7 3700+) but was limited by a RX 550 video card and a 310 watt power supply. I wanted to upgrade the video card so I could play some modern games but didn't want to also switch out the power supply. This GTX 1650 was the perfect solution. It was a massive improvement over the stock card but the power draw was similar enough to work on the same power supply. I can now play games like Metro Exodus and it looks great.Super easy to install. A great investment to make this HP desktop much more capable. I also added a 2TB hard drive and 8GB more ram t complement the 256GB SSD and 8GB already on board. Got this to bring a nice hp i7 quad core w/ ht off it's on-chip gpu and.. I'm really happy with the results. This card has just glided through anything I've thrown at it so far. I did start by pre-downloading the newest drivers from nvidia and the GeForce Experience software (appears to be required now).. installed it very easily. This system isn't for a gamer but, will be doing considerable calculations and multi-frame active, real time graphing. Anyway, really pleased with it's performance for purpose.!
The 1650 has gotten poor feedback from many enthusiasts as being a poor choice in 2020 with all the competition cards easily out performing it. If you are a budget minded 1080 gamer, this is your card of choice. For only drawing 75 watts from the PCI slot, this thing performs remarkably well for its power consumption and price point. I upgraded from a 1050 2gb with an i7-7700k cpu and 16 gb 2666 RAM and this thing is pulling 75 frames on CODMW and Warzone max settings, which is perfectly acceptable. If you are like me, a gamer who wants performance and havent jumped to 4k display and/or build yet, this will absolutely extend the life of an older build another year or two, which was my reason for purchase.
I am loving this card. It's in a similar machine as a 1050 Ti and it outperforms it on all levels. It's a good value for the performance you get. This particular card is just slightly slower (around 2%) than the more expensive MSI Ventus. If you like Gigabyte, and need a 1650, this is a nice card. It runs cool, performance is great for this level card, and it's a good price. It uses less than 75W and is a fine fit for a 300 watt PSU where power only comes from the PCIe slot.
I bought this and some other items to rebuild an old Core i5 Windows 7 desktop into a Linux gaming machine for my son. He uses it to play games on steam and it works really well for HD but can struggle with 4k. It does produce red lines on some games at certain resolutions but I think that is probably a software issue and usually resolves if I change settings.
