The NVIDIA Ampere Streaming Multiprocessors and 2nd Generation RT Cores make the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card powerful. It has 8GB of memory and a WINDFORCE 3X Cooling System that uses three fans and copper heat pipes to keep things cool. The fans spin in opposite directions to reduce turbulence, and a 3D Active Fan means they won't spin when not needed, saving energy and reducing noise. There's also a metal back plate for extra protection. With 16.7M colours and lighting effects, you can make your graphics card match your style. The AORUS Engine software lets you tweak the card's settings to get the best performance for your games. This graphics card is great for people who want high-quality graphics for playing games or doing work that needs a lot of visual power.

I was not sure to buy anything from Gigabyte because I had some problems with a motherboard a long time ago, but still there were no other 3070 available and finally the brand doesn't matter so much. They give you 3 years warranty and that's quite enough for a product of this type. As of now it's working like a charm on Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla, I have 100+ FPS with tweeked settings on 1440p screen. All the other games are demanding less and I have even better FPS in. I highly recommand Gigabyte they are doing great, and I also recommand to buy a 3070 or 3080 for gaming, the other cards doesn't worth it now. I had a GTX1070Ti from Asus before and this card was so noisy and heating for nothing. The difference is just unbelievable, the Gigabyte card is very silent ... MoreI was not sure to buy anything from Gigabyte because I had some problems with a motherboard a long time ago, but still there were no other 3070 available and finally the brand doesn't matter so much. But talking about benchmark, it's not sooo great, I was thinking I will have twice the power of the GTX1070Ti, but it's not the case. All the benchmark you see in youtubes video are a bit modified, they are using DLSS and ultra settings but than means nothing. If you want to compare cards, just look at 1080p and high settings benchmarks without DLSS. You can still play a lot of games with old 980Ti, 1070Ti, 1080, 2070 cards. Nvidia is always pushing people to buy new cards and downgrading the old ones.

Great 30 series card. Runs quiet and surprisingly cool for how thin it looks.

Overall if this can be found a an reasonable price then I would get it. The performance jump is nice from anywhere lower than a 2080 super to this and its very quiet for such a small heatsink. I was trying to get one since launch and eventually found it on the shuffle in a bundle. Well worth the money though as it should last me many years before I would need to upgrade. I will post a video of what it looks like in my Antec P120 Crystal Case as well.

Great Card
31 August 2021

I was glad that the card arrived with no bent pins, and that the cables connected with little effort. The idea of bent pins on a brand new card is crazy, especially at the price point, and should never be a consideration. Its also suuuuuuuuper annoying that half of the LEDs on the Gigabyte logo don't light up. Again, at the price point that shouldn't be an issue. Also, for whatever reason, I had to do a clean install of the drivers two times before windows would recognize my second monitor. Those minor issues aside, the card performs well and handles Ultra settings in the titles I play with ease.

Great...if you can get one.
5 June 2021

The biggest surprise I had with this card was that when I took my 2070 (MSI Armor) out and set it next the Gigabyte Eagle 3070 the 2070 made this thing look rather streamlined. The 2070 was taller and fatter (and about the same length). Definitely check your case clearances though. This isn't really an over-clocker's card. Its essentially just a tick above the FE power wise with better cooling and little clock bump. However, as I said above, its on par with a 2080ti in terms of performance. I game on a 1440p 165hz Viewsonic Elite and I am getting FPS bumps in the multiple tens on AAA games on ultra settings (compared to my previous 2070).

Plastic shroud makes it look cheap. very light cooler, it does not say quality. It worked out of the box.I would of purchased a different model if I looked at it before driving home.

Ronnie's review of GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB EAGLE OC Graphics Card
26 January 2021

Pros: Ok so basically this graphics card is great. Haven't had the opportunity to fully take advantage of it but seriously, this is worth the price tag. I mean its' performance is on par) higher than a 2080ti. This card is great if you're not looking to spend a ton of money on another card in the next couple years. Highly recommended if you're going to have a monitor to support the capability of the card.Cons: The design is alright but I've noticed the RGB is a little disappointing, however, the triple fan setup is a sight to see.

This card murders the PS5
2 February 2021

I sent my computer back to AMD for repair they no longer make that model so they upgraded me for free to a Gladiator. The original had a RTX 2070 Super I thought it was a great card. I thought it was not anymore the 3070 kills. I was getting 144fps in GTA V now I'm getting between 220 and 244 on the highest settings. They also upgraded the CPU to a Ryzen 7 3700X I'm sure that has something to do with it too but this thing kills. Also with the 2070 my GPU usage never went above 43% the 3070 usually runs at 100%. In Control you can see the pores and blemishes in the main characters skin in the cut scenes. The reflections off of reflective surfaces is incredible. This GPU with the 3700X at least in Control is blowing the PS5 out of the water I'm getting almost triple ... MoreI sent my computer back to AMD for repair they no longer make that model so they upgraded me for free to a Gladiator. Yes the Gladiator costs three times as much but for the performance I'll take the hit. On the down side from what AMD said there is a problem with the 3070 and I got luck mine had the problem. If you end up in a boot loop yours has the problem. It will run fine then one day you'll turn it on and the loop starts. You cant run anything that has to do with Windows as soon as it trys to boot either regularly or to a USB with Windows installation media it restarts Windows not the computer just Windows. They no longer had the 3070 in stock so they upgraded me to the 3080 for free they even overnighted it. I'm waiting on that little slice of heaven now.

Works as expected
15 June 2022

Was happy to finally be able to get a gpu at a reasonable price. It replaced a 1080 TI and is easily outperforming the older card. Better frame rates, higher graphics levels, and more features (ie ray tracing) all at a lower utilization level than the 1080 TI. 2 weeks in and it seems like a solid buy.

don't know if it's only my gpu, but the fan sounds funny sometimes. i don't really care but if you're sensitive to noise it might bother you. also, i get crashes on some games do to memory errors (fortnite and hogwarts legacy), i think it's a software problem but it could also be the gpu.
