* I need something better than integrated graphic from Intel CPU. This card runs all recent games just fine without breaking my pocket. I tried hit man absolution and it runs at 30-60fps at moderate setting. You don't want to crank antialiasing up to the max, it will kill the framerates.

I must add that the driver that windows 7 picks for this card is better than the one that is on the Nvidias website. Just plug in and your ready to go. The driver that is on the website is really bad. STAY AWAY! Also I have been playing Dayz and it runs it flawlessly on fairly high settings. Which is still good being that Dayz has a lot of video settings. SJust figured this might be helpful to someone out there.

bought this Xmas 2012 as a budget upgrade. I can run BF4 on good graphics lag free even in intense moments, I haven't even tried the highest because I don't really care but I imagine in really intense moments it may lag a bit. I've only noticed it really capping out when running games with higher end graphics or mods, so at its most stressing, while having who knows what all else running on my 2nd monitor and livestreaming. Even then I didn't notice any lag anywhere but my meters told me the processor was at max capacity but the on board memory was nowhere near it. I see it is still the same price as when I bought it a year ago so it may not be quite as worth it..even when I bought it it came with AC III. I'm not even sure I'll get all my money back because of the in-game coupons I didn't even want. Apparently they might take the cost of that out of the refund. I didn't even want the coupon (I never activated it), I don't even play those games. Pretty much every card I looked at comes with some coupon. If New Egg really does take the price of those stupid coupons out of refunds, then I'm very disappointed in them. I never expected such underhanded tactics from a company I've trusted for so many years. I'm considering finding a new online merchant for all my computer parts. Perhaps there's a way to remove or un-check the coupon upon purchase to avoid this issue? I'll have to check.
For those of you who have blue screens or it not being read by your motherboard; check your BIOS settings. Also, check if your copy of Windows is genuine. A lot of free copies of Windows 7 that are floating around on Torrent sites may not say "unregistered version of Windows" at the corner, but they definitely are.
Was putting up a new system. Connected key components together with this v card, and found no signal to the monitor. Took out the vCard and threw in my old card, everything was fine. There was minimal guidance in the quick setup guide, and no user manual hard copy. Definitely NOT recommended.
This is a con on Newegg's end, not the cards. It's 2 DVI-D ports, not DVI. The connection points are different. On the flat end the DVI has a wider flat with 4 posts, the DVI-D just has a thiner flat with no posts. Just some very needed info for anyone that has the old DVI cables but not the new DVI-D cables.
While I don't always stress videos cards out to their full potential, I can for sure say that this is the "fire and forget" video card for low to moderately high experience/use. There is no need for someone to go through the hassle of setting up SLI when this card is available. Now, for those who do more graphic intensive stuff than me, it's your call, but I think this can support some pretty complicated stuff.
The card is not compatible with Windows 8.1 - useless – after 8 month of having 8.1 out in the market it doesn’t seem they will update the drive soon. According the Newegg the card “was” compatible with 8.1 but not according to GIGABYTE (website). Just like Vista I wanted to wait until Microsoft created a product that was worth buying. But no – now I have a new system and I can’t buy Windows 7 student edition unless I pay the full retail price. What does that mean? I have to buy Windows 8.1 with does not work with this graphics card - Goodness. Once i see the 8.1 driver i will run a benchmark and rewrite my review.
Don't make the same mistake: Get a decent PSU with a solid 12V current rating of MINIMUM 20A if you haven't already. (Easily achievable for around $40-$60 range.) Nothing is more frustrating than getting in new equipment, getting it all hooked up, and wasting half your day-off trying to troubleshoot, only to realize you forgot a simple PSU requirement. Hopefully this is the only issue. I'll post again once I get in my new PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182199
