Needed a budget card for AI image generation. This runs great with Stable Diffusion straight out of the box, and reduced image generation times from 30-45 seconds with my old 1060 GTX to 15-20 seconds. The 12Gb of VRAM makes a big difference to AI image processing (no more ---medvram option needed), and is much better for AI than the extra grunt and less VRAM offered by the 3060Ti .I cranked up my display settings to max on on my older games like Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Killing Floor 2 and 7 Days to die and runs very smooth.

As it says in the title I’m reviewing the product and not the merchant, Scorptec was great, 5/5As for the card, it works exactly as intended however like most gigabyte cards the fan reving is extremely annoying and even when the fans work as intended they aren’t exactly in sync or at the correct speeds for the temperature, this isn’t an issue with my build as I read forums and posts about gigabyte cards and this is a universal issue. Overall the cards great for the price, since the 1660 super went up in price the 3060 OC is currently the best price to performance card on the market. Also I bought the card when it wasn’t even at its lowest price point so as soon as it goes below $500 AUD, it is a GREAT deal.

Although hard to get, the RTX line of GPU's is very worth it. I think the price of this card is a little too much, but the performance is outstanding (if you get it at MSRP). I basically am maxing out all my game settings at 1080p and can hit at least 60fps. Pushing it to 144hz is a little tougher, but it manages still (at 1080p). 1440p 140hz is definitely gonna make it work, but if you can sacrifice a little quality for performance, it's do-able. Temperatures are great on this card, I'm averaging around high 40's to mid 50's, and it is quiet still! Ray tracing performance will vary, but in Minecraft with 12 render distance and on a survival world, easy 60+ fps. Very pleased!

I cant recommend it enough! I got that card as a replacement of MSI RTX2060 which was still flying in 1080p I have to give it that. but OMG this card is delivering just different experience! For those like me, watching comparison on YT before buy, no video gives a true reflection on how games run smooth now. Maybe it is a matter of 10-15 frames in BF2042 or Red Dead Redemption but I'm playing now on Ultra with all volumetric effects ON not medium to high like on 2060. Plus, Cyberpunk 2077 is just a different game altogether. I started noticing things I didn't see before. So for all who don't want to spend more money than the bare minimum, RTX3060 is just a great upgrade whatever people say! In terms of installation it's just plug and play. No power supply upgrade ... MoreI cant recommend it enough! As a lot of people know, graphics card prices are not only inflated but card are hard to find. These things are as rare as hen's teeth. However, the day I went into Microcenter I was lucky, I found a card. Needless to say, I bought it right then and there. If I had waited just one minute longer to go back there, I wouldn't have gotten the card. Talk about timing!Anyways, I bought this card to upgrade from my old GTX1060 that when paired with my 1440p monitor, it just wasn't cutting it anymore; the performance wasn't there as versus when I had my older 1080p monitor. This video card is capable of keeping FPS high and the dips to a minimum.
I purchased this GPU a few months ago, when there was still a shortage out there.I realise that the price is higher than it should be. But I have not been disapointed.Best settings for high end games are 1080p and with that you get around 60fps.Cyberpunk 2077 runs at approx 70fps on high settings, at 1080p with ray tracing on performance mode. The 12GB ram isn't going to be fully used for a few years, if ever. But it has made this card future proof in my opinion. My pc rig in total came to £1,600
I wanted this card when it first came out, but of course everything going on made it hard to actually obtain a new 30 series card. After several visits to micro center with not being able to find a GPU in stock or one that wasn't super marked up in price, I finally found this guy on the shelf on a random Thursday. I use VR a lot and my old graphics card was struggling a bit to keep up, but this card tackles them no problem. I get smooth 90 FPS in all my racing sim games where I use VR, then I get easily 144 FPS on most of my games when I'm back to my monitor. I don't use ray tracing all that much, but I have tried it out on a couple games I own, this card runs them fairly smoothly. All in all, a much-needed upgrade compared to my last card. I bought this card for my streaming PC. My gaming PC has a Asus 3080 so I bought this card mainly for the NVENC to free up some headroom on my CPU. I am overly impressed. The new NVENC is phenomenal. I stream 1080, 60fps with literally no issues. The quality on this card is much more than I expected. The boost clock is pretty impressive as well. On top of that I got it on sale for 379, normally 499$. Can't beat it!!
No noticeable difference but I only play an older game. I don't play much either. It actually does paging more frequently than the 2060, which is weird. The 2060 has less ram...*shrug* IDK what to say. The same play, same game, faster screen, same settings, the 3060 has more "paging", for me, than the 2060. I can't explain why. Moving from one map area to the next will cause a split second "halt" and then load. win10 pro for workstations x590 amd 9 3900x 1TB pcie 4 ssd (mid range speed, not the slowest, not the fastest) & 64gb ram; this is a wfh machine that happens to have games on it, it's not a gaming machine-regardless, the stats are more than strong enough to run games. and the driver says it's up to date.
