It's a great motherboard with loads of features. Love how it supports PCIe 4.0 NVME SSDs. I've stuck a 3800x in there and managed to get a great OC with this motherboard. Only problem with the board is that you'll have to update the bios since the release BIOS has a really loud chipset fan, so updating to F5 should do you wonders. It also helped out with my OC, making it more stable. I couldn't recommend this motherboard more than I can recommend a healthy diet. It's just that good. If you've got the budget, please, get this board. CCL delivered it in a great time, although the P&P was a bit expensive but i've got a large budget so it didn't really matter for me. Great value for money.

An Engineering marvel

When I first laid eyes on this I was blown away, it's certainly something to behold. Awesome Motherboard with great support!

After having issues with another manufacturer being really bad with customer support and bios support(they shall not be named), i decided to go back to Gigabyte for this round of upgrades, and boy am i glad i did!The Aorus x570 Master is a premium motherboard, which means it comes with premium features, infact it even has a thunderbolt header, which was a very nice surprise! Buy at risk of problems

Feature wise it’s a great board, I would give it 5 stars and a recommendation without the issue. Within 2 weeks of use the board one morning was dead. Pulled the computer apart testing the components in another computer and also cleared CMOS to be sure but board was still dead. Googling the issue gave me a lot of results about people having the same problem with only a temporary fix the solution. Remove the onboard battery and psu power connectors for a few minutes. After that the board stopped being dead. The issue doesn’t happen everyday, it happens at random after shutting down and is more than a one off. It may not happen to every board but be prepared that this is an issue for some of the boards, and obviously was for mine.

Cold boot issues and constand bios resets

i bought this board a couple of months ago and had nothing but trouble with it. firstly i would regularly come home from work and try turning on the computer to find a completely dead pc, no boot no lights on the board nothing!!! i read online where hundreds of people with this board where experiencing the same thing. Great VRMS and brilliant overclock potential.Gigabyte really need to fix the issues with these boards. if anyone is planning on doing a closed loop system this would have to be the very last board to go for as removing the gpu and cmos battery would be a nightmare on closed loop.its a shame because the board was actually great quality but there obviously have some serious underlining issues which need resolving. im rating this purely on the board. and not scan. scan is always 5* but i wouldnt even give this board a 1*

Long-running issues waking from sleep

This looks like the perfect board - excellent VRMs, 3 M.2 slots, great audio. But the issues start before you even get to installing OS:* Out of the box, input devices were freezing on me, both mouse and keyboard, irrespective of the USB port they were plugged into. There are various suggestions on how to solve this (60/64 emulation on, disable CSM, the list goes on but whether or not it works for you is an open question).* There are sleep issues which you can read about in the Gigabyte forums. This is not limited to this board in particular, the entire x570 Aorus range suffers from weird sleep behaviour and in my case, the computer enters a restart freeze with fans blaring when waking with error code 21 - this is a reserved code not described in the manual. The only solution to that is to completely cut power supply for at least 10 seconds, after which the system can be started but will revert to default settings. There seems to be some relation to RAM settings, but even running those without XMP at 2133 triggers this behaviour occasionally.In short, good looking hardware with unreliable firmware that hasn't been fixed since last year, I recommend you grab an Asus board instead (or ASRock if you don't need front USB-C or don't have a long GPU) and call it a day. This board isn't worth it.

Not happy Jan

While the board wasn’t new (refurbished) I had become accustomed to the same high standards from Scorptech.Upon receiving the motherboard one thing was apparent from the start.Missing was the areal for the built in Wi-Fi as well as the disk with the drivers and so on, also missing was the 3 number check code needed to ensure you could register it for warranty.Nowhere did it say that the board would come clean skin without any of the accompanying hardware. Effectively crippling the full use of the board.I have lodged a report with scorptech and truely hope they send me those integral parts. At the price I paid which was near new price. I expected the entire package.

The price goes towards the quality

Gigabyte have outdone themselves on the 570 series motherboards this generation and while the master may be a steep price for some, the money went towards features such as:14 dedicated phases and no doublers.Backplate for strength.Fin heatsinks, the VRMs are really beefy but it's nice to see that despite this, they still added great cooling to them.Awesome PWM pin layout (Some boards put the headers in ridiculous places).Quiet chipset profiles (A concern for many buying x570).Fixed I/O shield.M.2 drives have heatshields.I highly rate the board, the BIOs is clean and simple to navigate, a few updates on the BIOs and it will be a perfect 10.

Image shows crashed threads on Core 13 and video is a great example of what happens if you run an AVX2 test on stock settings. (no overclock, no xmp, no pbo). I will RMA this motherboard as soon as I decide what to buy instead of this. If you're reading here probably you didn't buy it yet so you still have a chance. Maybe look for a different brand/model.
