Great grip, feels good in the hands and can’t beat the price. Only complaints are that it naturally deflates more quickly than other balls, but not a big issue, and that it isn’t the best ball for wet conditions, which also isn’t a big issue. Really can’t beat the price though, highly recommend.

If you take care of the ball it will last a long time. The shipping came within 3 days with standard shipping to Ohio. WRS is the best place to buy any type of rugby equipment.

Gilbert makes great balls. These are average balls. They will kick great but don’t expect them to offer much grip after a year or two. What we do is buy large quantities when they do their sale. That way we keep the same balls for around three years. If you train with multiple balls they last longer. Also with Covid each player now gets her own ball. I only ever buy from world rugby. So much better than the others.

It’s practical and does its job. Key word being TRAINING. If you want longevity or sturdiness, consider a regular ball.

Purchased for my son, who plays rugby at his school. This is the exact ball that they use at games, so I thought it would be the best option.
Got an email from fellow coach Sunday that I could pre-order. Managed to get free shipping. They don't promote it but if you order more than $150 you get free shipping. Top Tip. They run out of the size five within a few days of the sale. This isn't the best ball on the market but for the money you pay it is way way better than anything else on the market. The grip is excellent and the ball flies straight. Do not leave them outside for days on end.Highly recommend WRS, ordered Sunday night, received them Tuesday morning in Maine.
