Best razor I've ever used in my 20 yrs of shaving

A friend gave me one and it came with a blade cartridge refill. I used for the 1st time today and I'm very impressed. I gotta close smooth shave beard lined up perfect. Literally best shave and razor I've had in my whole 20 years of shaving. I started shaving at 15 yrs old I'm now 35 years old and nothing has came close to the shaving power ofGillette fusion 5!

Better shave for less money

I have a heavy beard growth and have had good luck with years of using the Mach 3. I recently tried the Fusion an discovered several things. First, a smoother, faster shave and without the nicks.Second, the grip is harder to adjust to (I am right handed) and could use improvement (like the Mach 3). And third, it costs less per shave. I got a week out of the Mach 3s. I am at 2 1/2 weeks with the Fusion and counting.

Fusion 5

I have used Gillette since I was a teenager . To my benefit i don't shave often and when i do, my chest and my two friends down there are part of the process, so the overly expensive refills do last a long time . I have tried all types of more affordable products and subscriptions and i always end up getting my Fusion 5. For the rest, none of them have passed the first use test so i end up with boxes of unused useless handles and refills. I still have the handle that vibrates but I will go crazy the day it breaks . Why was that discontinued? I would try the new heat blades but they are too expensive . I think anyone can (and must) prep the skin before shaving way cheaper than relying on an expensive heated handle. Great Shave

I like many other users had been a Gillette fan for most of my adult life and the fact that I am now 67 should give you a good idea of how many years I was a consumer. Then I decided that in all honesty your product had just priced itself out of the market. I joined one of the many "dollar shave clubs" 7 years ago and actually thought I was getting a good shave. The handles kept braking and I finally became frustrated to the point I bought your Fusion Razor and replacement blades. I was absolutely amazed at the difference! The Gillette Fusion actually made me appreciate what a quality razor felt like. I had become complacent and simply thought that I was getting a close shave when in reality it did not provide anywhere close to the Fusion. Horrible quality

I always buy this razor and the last 3 times I’ve purchased I feel the razor has lost its quality and durability. I have dropped the razor and blade came off, tried to replace it twice and doesn’t work. Bought another razor, went to change the blade, doesn’t work. I’m leaving my long history with this razor and finding another.

Not satisfied

I went to my Local Walgreens to purchase Fusion Proglide Blades. Unable to find the ones I purchased last and bought "update" replacements with orange lubricating edge. Very disappointed in performance. Orange surface has black marks after one use and the other surface that indicates when to replace the blade quickly wears out. I only get about three shaves per blade. Also not a very close shave as orange surface may be to thick. If my old Proglide blades aren't available on my next trip to Walgreens I may have to switch to Shick or another company.

Sad but not 20

I've used this edition since its inception. Though I've been loyal to this product it has never lived up to a blade refill a month. Not even close. Because of price ill use past what I consider due date as comfort defines but overall better than others except safety razors which last about 3 to 4 daysIf I shave scalp and beard it's nearly a goner and my head is pretty thin. Picture a Franciscan friar with thinning hair lol.But it's the best I can find and am willing to compromise just wish it was closer to the advertised 20 shaves a 4 pack lasts almost a month.

Used to be great then you changed it!

I started using the Fusion when it first came out and I loved it. I told everyone about it, how I would get 2 months of great shaves and only changed cartridges because I felt I ought to. Then I received my latest batch of cartridges, the black ones. Ugh they were horrible. I got a better shave from my 2 month old cartridge than I did the new black ones. I am finally on my last one and will be looking for something different. You had something great and then you changed it!
