This gloss is absolutely divine with all the quality you would expect of giorgio armani. I was lucky enough to receive one of these glosses as a gift and I love it. This high quality gloss glides on lips perfectly and has a high gloss effect and gorgeous colour pigmentation. The gloss feels lightweight on and does not feel sticky or tacky like some glosses can. My lips felt moisturised and hydrated for hours and the colour really lasted. The wand itself is divine as is the packaging, a gorgeous classy tube that looks great if you have to pull it out for touchups, the sponge applicator is easy to use and slicks on colour brilliantly. This looks and feels like a luxe product and I highly recommend it as a special purchase and for special occassions, beautiful.

This is the Giorgio Armani Ecstasy lip lacquer and it retails for $38.00. I tried two shades and they performed quite differently. The shade “night time” #102, did not perform well at all. I returned that and got #night rose” - #507 which was much better. One layer is comfortable, two layers made it slightly tacky. Night rose is lightweight, thin gel texture that adheres well to my lips. Smooths out lip lines and lasts almost 4.5 hours on me if I don’t eat a meal. Lightly hydrating and left a slight pink stain. It is a medium-dark pink with warm undertones and pink/gold pearl throughout. Semi sheer to medium coverage.

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars. For the price it should be better. Of it were $20 it would be 4 stars. Surely not 5 starsit applies nice. But needs more than one coat to get the color even. The color is beautiful. Absolutely. It’s a glimmery rose color. But the formula is sticky and it doesn’t last that long. I’m not even sure if it’s a gloss or a long wearing lipstick. Either way it’s not the best of either of these worlds. It’s just okay. I was tired of all the flat matte liquid lipsticks so I thought this would be a nice alternative. Almost Perfect!

I bought 504 Pink Out and it's a gorgeous color! It's a purplish pink with iridescent white/blue shimmer. I have caramel brown skin and hazel eyes and it really compliments my skin tone and eyes, and makes it appear as if my face is more made up than it is. A bonus since I don't usually like to take the time to apply makeup.The texture is smooth and lightweight and it does add a little moisture and creaminess to my lips when applied. I expected to need a lip brush for precise application, especially near the lip line, but it was unnecessary, and the perfect amount for one coat comes out evenly on the applicator. I tried another brand of liquid lipstick and most of the product clumped at the tip and went on in one big blob that was difficult to spread out.I plan to also get 300 Tangerine and a red (still haven't decided which one; all three are beautiful!), but at this price point I don't expect this to be my everyday gloss.

Comfortable, but not much pigment or shine

this is a rare miss from Armani for me. I love Armani Beauty and have several lip products that I love, including the Ecstasy Shine lipstick, so I am really baffled by the lackluster performance of this. It has very little shine and very little pigment. I got 508 Night Glow, and maybe it is too close to my natural lip color to show up much, but it is really way too subtle, with very little shine. However, it DOES seem to moisturize my lips nicely, with a lasting effect, so I use it as a nearly invisible lip balm. Pretty pricey for that!

Definitely Lip stain and gloss

I broke down and decided to gift the 504 to myself with some christmas money. I was looking for a berry that would also double as a stain. This does change a bit on my lip to be a bit more reddish berry (think the old Black Lily color from Clinique) but I love it! The one thing that could be a deal breaker for you is if you hate makeup that has a fragrance, since this does have a scent that fades some after it has set, but will linger under your nose. I still love it even though the fragrance is unnecessary.You need very little product to get a great color payoff, and it isn't a sticky gloss. It feels a little watery at first before it sets a bit, but your lips feel hydrated for a long time with this lacquer. Gorgeous colour, tad streaky application.

I initially bought the Ecstasy Lip Lacquer in Boudoir, the glittery light pink. Favourite lipgloss of all time! The pigmentation is amazing, and you can layer it to intensify the colour, although it’s not even needed. However, the red is a bit streakier and harder to apply. The colour is still gorgeous though!

I love this. I got color 501 as it's a good noticeable pink - not too bold and in your face but not a nude color that others don't notice either. It looks like i was eating a popsicle or something. It's as if i enhanced my natural lip color in the winter time when they have a full color to them. At least for me they do. I do find it to be buildable. If you want more color and make it bolder pink, you can put on one or two more layers. It does stay on your lip for hours like a stain but has a shine to it and that's' what i love. Even after I eat and drink something and maybe forget it's there and wipe my lips, the color still remains but may be a little bit faded in the shine department but that's okay with me. It doesn't smell the best but i don't mind the scent at ... MoreI love this. The Color Payoff is PHENOMENAL ...but....

This is not a "lip gloss" which is to say it isnt a syrupy and moisturizing gloss. If you are looking for the hydration of a lip gloss then you won't get it from this product. It has the classic lacquer consistency. But the description is right, you get the color pay off and staying power of a liquid lipstick and the wearing comfort of a lipstick, without it being as drying. I haven't worn it out yet but I imagine it won't fade much, if at all, during daily wear. When I took it off there was a gorgeous even stain left behind. It not usually what I go for but its a keeper. I purchased tried 200 and 602. The other shades I purchased but haven't arrived yet are 400 and 503.

This is my new fav lip product. I have dry lips and don’t like the feeling of heavy, creamy matte lipsticks. This product doesn’t feel like a heavy lipstick but, it acts like a powerhouse! The color lasts and lasts and doesn’t dry your lips.When first applied, it feels watery and then changes to more of a gel. You can apply with one swipe for a matte stain or several layers for full glossy color. IMO the swatches on the site are in full tilt. You can get a softer look depending on your application.U can’t really go wrong w any of the colors. I bought several and love them all. If you prefer lighter colors, Uptown is a pretty soft coral/pink, and Vintage is an usual rose, Boudoir is also gorgeous.
