I live in Hawaii and go swimming in the ocean regularly. I used to use Benefit Gel Push-Up eye liner religiously - then they discontinued the product!! DUDE!!! This eye pencil is AMAZING! the staying power and pigmentation is bold and lasting. Prior to this, I used to use the sample Marc Jacobs gel pencil liner. I even bought a full size one from the Sephora store. I loved it until I tried this one this morning. This eyeliner is easy to put on and has long lasting vibrant color. This is my new go to eye liner. I have no regrets buying this liner!In the photo below, I am wearing the Armani Waterproof Smooth Silk Eye Pencil, Dior Rouge lipstick, Lancome Idole Teint foundation, and Diorshow mascara.

I first used Armani waterproof eyeliner in 2013. I had to attend a Memorial, and I did not want my eyeliner to run, or wear off. So I used the Armani eyeliner. When I came home, I was removing my jewelry, and I looked in the mirror to see how my makeup had held up. That’s when I noticed the eyeliner was still on my eyes. Also my Lancôme waterproof mascara looked just fine too. No smudges, lashes and eyes looked great. It is the best eyeliner I have ever used, and I am 74 years old, and have used a lot of them. I will always use Armani waterproof. No other.

Tried lots out there and this is the one that really stays on. If you want a waterproof one, look no further. It doesn't smudge and stays all day long. It's hard to find one that does, so I recommend.
I had night hopes for this eyeliner. It, at first, seems pretty perfect. Goes on smooth, stays on all day and night!, doesn't run or smudge throughout the day, and is a great color brown. The only trouble is that you have to sharpen it almost every other time you use it!! I like to keep my makeup in my purse and do it in the car, and found myself having to carry my sharpener with me. Too often, the wood from the pencil would be touching my eye. Not good.

It goes on slick and greasy....and despite my best efforts at "setting" this oil slick, it refused to "dry down." And so I hoped against hope that "maybe," just this once-a "miracle" might occur. That because it was "Armani," it was MEANT to remain gooey and moist-yet "not budge." Not a chance. Within 60 seconds, the first signs of feathering and "slippage" began. This waterproof eye pencil is truly waterproof. It is the first pencil that I have owned, that truly does not smudge under my eyes. I've found that it needs to removed with a waterproof eye remover. Its soft lead goes on easily without tugging on the lid, and the smudge applicator works nicely. I am so delighted with this pencil that I have purchased the black and the brown.
I absolutely love this waterproof pencil eyeliner. It lasts long without smudging on my oily lid. It is very pigmented and has creamy texture. I have monolid hooded eyes. With other eyeliners , I normally have to put on so many times so it shows on my hooded eyes. However, with this one, I only have to do one streak and voila, it gives me a thick line. However this is pencil so it won't give you a precision line like liquid eyeliner. I personally like pencil eyeliner because of the thick line. Only downside is it runs out very fast and you have to sharpen it with a sharpener. However for me it's worth it because it works for my eyes.
