I’m usually a size 41 womens, I ordered the 41, true to size (my Birkenstock papillio are size 40 - both fit like a glove with a bit of room at the toes) The material feels like a cross between a croc and thong without any break in period. Definitely going to get some more colours.I read a review that mentioned a suspicious fart sound happened for a wearer but I haven’t had this happen at all yet, I fastened the buckle to the tightest fitting so it created a fitted sealed between my foot and the show so this may have helped. If your thinking about it take the plunge! Great investment

After experiencing one too many problems with foot and skin reactions due to recalcitrant medications, I found a solution. This EVA alternative has given back my birkenstocks. Significantly lower profile, but still great support in all the usual places. Only downside is they make the occasional squealy noise which sounds suspiciously like a fart . I can live with that. In Australian summers, these feel much cooler than the mainstream Gizehs. I liked it so much I bought 2 pairs.

Stunning colour, soft suede.After reading an a comment about sizing I would like to state that these are a narrow fitting.I have 6 pairs of Birkenstocks of various designs and these are no different.Would recommend.

The fit is great. However, $90 with no cork or leather seems a high for 100% plastic.The most impressive feature is these things stick to your feet like magnets. Normally you can shake thongs off your feet, but these are so light, they just don't let go.If they last as long as all my other thongs, it is worth 5 stars.
I expected a shoe that would be a bit gimmicky, but am pleasantly surprised on comfort, featherlight, fit for long walks. Went on to buy my Mom a pair (comfort is priority) and she is as thrilled
I am a long-time Birkenstock fan; bought my first pair 20 years ago. This is my first pair of EVA sandals though and I’m pleasantly surprised. I bought these because they are waterproof, unlike the traditional cork-bed sandals. These are lighter (even more comfortable to wear because of their lighter weight) and easy to keep clean. Great for garden, pool etc. but also smart enough in black to wear as part of a smart-casual outfit. Note for anyone unfamiliar with Birkenstock sizing: they tend to run larger in size (I normally wear a size 5 shoe but Birkenstock is the only brand where I need to take a 4).

Great for outdoor wet areas. Easy to wash (even when on the feet!). Lightweight and no rubbing. Can be a little sweaty in very hot weather. Fun colour.
They’re Birkies. What more can I say? Reliable, comfortable, iconic, fit well, they go anywhere except to the opera. And probably not to a wedding if you’re the bride. Although they are white. So maybe…
