They are strong and can carry a large load of trash without ripping. The plastic they are made of also resists any tears from things with sharper edges like a folded cardboard box. I wish I could add scratch and sniff to these reviews! There’s nothing super novel about a trash bag. Glad is always a reliable choice for bags, and the Force Flex adds stretch though strength is questionable as some sharp-edged debris nearly burst these bags open. But what does stand out is the scent. It’s strong. This isn’t a bad thing as it will definitely mask the stench of your stinkiest trash, but it is strong enough that I felt like I could taste the scent. So, I would not leave one of these bags in my kitchen trash can but I would definitely dump trash in these bags and keep them in my garage until trash day to keep my garage from smelling. While I’m unlikely to buy these scented bags, if a strong smelling bag doesn’t bug you…these are a great option!

I received these Glad brand’s Gain Lavender 13 gallons max strength trash bags from the Influenster and Glad for free in exchange for my honest review. These trash bags look thin and light, but they are strong and held trash well. They are stretchy and can expand holding more trash without tearing. They have double side seems and reinforced bottom to give leak and tear guards. I like the lavender scent. It eliminates the odor and keeps the trash can smells fresh and clean. The scent is very nice at first and would mellow out slowly. I have been using Glad’s trash bags, but have not tried the scented bags. I really like the scented bags. I also like the drawstring which can be pulled and tighten up easily.
