Long time Glasshouse lover. I am so disappointed in this new formula. I’ve NEVER had an issue with burning my glasshouse candles, they always burn evenly and the wicks stay nice and straight. The new wicks are so terrible and have ruined the wax inside the candle by getting little dots of black ash throughout. The wax burns so much faster with very little scent projection. Won’t be repurchasing again sadly, I think I’ve had about 30 glasshouse candles amongst the years. Please bring back the original formula and packaging :(

I ordered 3 lime candles. They were well packaged. I got great communication. $10 postage was very reasonable. I was excited to open them and try one right away. Despite following all instructions there was and still is not any perfume whatsoever. It burns well, I put it out after 4 hours and trim the wick. I am so disappointed and now I have 2 more I bought as gifts and will not be giving them as they have no perfume at all. Sadly a regretful purchase. I enjoyed the sample hand cream more than the $105 spent on the 3 lime candles. So disappointed.

This is THE most incredible candle. All glasshouse candles (and products in general) have the most beautiful scent. I would buy this over ones that cost twice as much. It may seem pricey but this candle will legit last you for AGES. And even unlit with the lid off, the lovely warm scent wafts lightly in the air!! I have tried almost all of them and you cannot go wrong with any blind buy, but this is a personal favourite...kind of clean musky oriental! So happy to finally be able to buy here in UK!

If you are buying them to have the smell of "Saffron, Sea Salt and Lavender" you will be very disappointed. These are my favourite brand of candles. I love the scent of Diving Into Cyprus as it is subtle & not overpowering. I have been lighting it every day & it is quite slow burning which is great. I got the candles on sale, great value for a quality product. Will certainly purchase from Retreat again as my parcel was packaged & delivered promptly.
My fave summer glasshouse fragrance. The coconut and lime is strong but not overpowering. Fills my entire apartment and the large candle lasts a reasonable period of time. Great price when you purchase 4 or more at a time. Well worth it to put away for later or for gifts. Well packaged.
Purchased Glasshouse candles for the first time taking advantage of Retreat's sale. Candles arrived promptly, well packed and in perfect condition. So happy I did. These candles are divine. I ordered Bora Bora Bungalow and Lost in Amalfi. They are both beautiful fragrances but Lost in Amalfi is my favourite. Will definitely be ordering again. Such a shame the Retreat store is on the other side of the country. Would love to visit and use for last minute gifts. Could really use one today!
Just love, love the Glasshouse candles. Their scents are exotic, lingering, strong, permeate the whole house enveloping us in beautiful, sensuous scents that are zingy, uplighting, invigorating and luxurious transporting us to tropical paradises. And it’s reassuring knowing they’re natural. My favourite is Cyprus, but Amalfi and Rio come a close second. So happy my daughter put me on retreat where I can save.
Absolutely love these candles , but i am reluctant to buy because of the price . Found this gem of a company with amazing prices and exceptional business acumen . My order was processed and shipped in a fast reliable time . Well packaged . Could not fault them , will definitely use them again . Lost in Amalfi is definitely my favourite xx
