Probably an effect since there isnt any tactile feedback and the switch just slides up and down a tube essentially. I bought this looking for a keyboard with the rapid tap function. I love a good creamy keyboard. This satisfies that. But randomly the keyboard will disconnect and reconnect in the middle of use.
