Every so often me and my mum decide to branch out from our regular Schwarzkopf shampoo conditioner combo and try something new and this was one of those. I've always felt personally a little dubious about Glow Lab because the name to me makes it feel a little cheap and a bit home brand-esc if you ask me. And unfortunately, it would seem I was correct this is my least favourite shampoo I've used in a long while. Now, I'm a regular user of repairing shampoos, but none of them have made my hair feel as worse as this one. Even with trying to thoroughly wash it out it leaves my hair flat and far too oily. My hair feels like how it does usually the day before I wash my hair in my regular twice a week cycle. I can't wait until this bottle is finished.

I have very curly hair that is prone to dryness and frizz. Keratin is awesome for dry, curly, frizzy hair. This is a really great shampoo. It is very nourishing and does not dry out my hair. It gets my hair clean, while still keeping it hydrated. I think this shampoo is very good value for money, especially when it is on special and half price. Glow lab do not use any parabens, sulphates, silicones or other known irritants - and this is perfect for me as silicone dries my hair and other parabens irritate my skin. This works really well with the matching Repairing shampoo. I love it.

Bought this on a whim when it was half price at Woolworths. I just had my hair chemically straightened and it was in a dry and damaged state, so I've been looking out for nourishing/strengthening shampoos. This shampoo is made in New Zealand, comes in a convenient pump bottle. The formula includes keratin, argan oil, rosehip oil, shea butter, panthenol, vit E etc. It does lather but not as much as shampoos with SLS. I need about 4 pumps for my long hair. It has a rather masculine fragrance, and feels quite nice and nourishing as you massage it in. It doesn't leave your hair dry after rinsing, and in fact leaves a slightly conditioning film. I have coarse, thick hair so it's not an issue for me. I think I might go through this quite quickly since I need 4 pumps per shampoo, so I'm glad I got the larger 600ml bottle. As I already bought a lot of hair treatments, I didn't buy the matching conditioner, but I'm keen to try it the next time it goes on sale.
I love this product. since last year I have swapped to using glow labs repair shampoo and conditioner range from store brands and it's done wonders for my hair. I have thick curly hair and I find that for me it helped give life back to my frizzy curls and makes it so shiny as well. I use this as part of my CGM routine! I also love that I'm supporting a NZ brand.
Made my hair quite itchy and irritable and didnhave much of a smell. Also my hair would need to be washed more often due to it making my hair greasy and dry.
I’ve used this shampoo (and the conditioner) for maybe three weeks ish now, and i definitely think it had made my hair stronger! it looks thicker and shinier - but it still gets oily after a couple of weeks. otherwise its good and i would recommend for damaged hair :)
