Perfect for roof mounted placement and with the use of extension leads the brain can be easily mounted in the dash and the hand piece/ microphone located in another spot everything works great highly recommend, I love this set
Excellent product very high quality
Even with unit behind dash the speaker is audible enough to not really need an extension speaker unless you have really loud music going or possibly all windows down on hwy. I did purchase and have yet to find the need to fit an external speaker.
