I received this in a beauty loop box and reached for it when my cleanser ran out. I found the application method a bit weird initially (straight onto a dry face) as I hadn't tried any oil cleansers before, but I had been moving towards more gentle milk-like formulas for the past couple of years. I didn't think much about it but then realised a couple of days ago that I have literally had ZERO blemishes in the month or so that I've been using it, and I'm far less oily though out the day. I think my sebum production is finally under control because my skin's not being stripped. I also think my pores seem smaller. Will definitely be purchasing the full-size when it runs out - not that that will be anytime soon - the little bottle is seeming to last for ages. LOVE.

(she did a demo on camera, good to see how it works. Loved that she did it herself!) so put my big girl nickers on and DO IT! Didn't hurt my eyes one bit. Repurchasing this gorgeous cleansing oil as I love the subtle fragrance and texture of the oil. I love oil cleansing as I feel it doesn't strip my skin. A little sceptical though as at a recent facial appointment, the therapist photographed my skin and there was significant bacteria trapped which indicated insufficient cleansing (I had just been oil cleansing). So I've made sure to increase my cleanse to a 2 step process with the Tacha rice wash, in addition to my FF oil cleanse. Still a 5 star product, but a note of caution that it really should be part of a 2 step process .

I’ll start by saying that I am a loyal Go-to girl. And this product, in terms of performance, is brilliant. It is my absolutely favourite cleansing oil and I’m a repeat buyer. However, my issue with this product is that the instructions say that you only need 2-3 pumps. As a cleansing oil designed to remove a face full of makeup, 2-3 pumps is nowhere near enough. To remove a face full of make up, including eye makeup, I use at least 6-7 pumps each evening. For a product that is only 100ml, this means I go through it really quickly. Which actually makes it a really expensive product in comparison to many higher end cleansing oils out there. Alas, I keep buying because I’ve found nothing better!
I thought I’d stray away from the ever faithful Tatcha Camellia Oil Cleanser and try this. Whilst this cleanser it’s less money to technically outlay in the beginning, it’s only about $10 cheaper overall when comparing $/ml.In the beginning I did enjoy using this cleanser, however within a week a rash began developing on my cheeks, chin and around my eyes. The skin on my eyelids was itchy and flaking despite being an avid eye cream user. I obviously didn’t use it long enough to find out.In summary, if it didn’t reek havoc on my skin I probably would’ve liked it, however I’ve learnt a valuable lesson and will refrain from straying away from already faithful products!
I’ve avoided oily products on my face due to my nose and chin very obligingly being self-sufficient in oil supply! But I needed something to really drill into the oil wells (aka my pores) and wowsers! I’m so glad I decided to give this little bottle of magic a chance! After the very first use, my face felt better and, to my amazement, looked better. My nose was noticeably clearer in the oil wells, after just one use! Just one!! You created bottled magic with this one, Go-To, but I now call it “Ta-Da Face”!
I had a mini sample of this from a beauty box. I was silly and never read the instructions so didn't realise you use it without water. I recently realised you use without water and have been obsessed ever since! Since winter set in I have used this product even more regularly as it doesn't dry out my face. I use it nightly currently as it melts away makeup and I hold a lot of stress in my face and the oil makes it a great way to cleanse + massage away tension. Honestly love it and I even bought one for my mum to try so she can give herself a facial massage at home too.
I have used Fancy Face for over a year now and couldn't be happier with the outcome (in combination with Face Hero + Much Plumper Skin) and even when I am giving my skin a really hard time it still holds itself together better than ever before. I have used oil based cleansers for a decade now and was heartbroken when my previous brand was discontinued. Fancy Face has been a excellent substitute.I used to suffer from tightness and dry skin but I never experience that sensation ever any more! A combination of all the goodness Go-To has given my skin. I actually rinse after using Fancy Face (which goes against the instructions, but I like the slightly cleaner feel this gives me, I follow with a cloth).
I purchased this a few weeks ago and I am unfortunately less than impressed. I wanted to love it! However, the consistency is very thick which makes it quite hard to remove make up and spread properly around the face. It feels like it sinks into the skin like a moisturising oil rather than a cleansing oil. My skin is also quite sensitive and this broke me out quite quickly. I would not recommend or repurchase.
