Actually, no underwire - but not bad

I purchased this because I SPECIFICALLY wanted a nursing bra for my 38G chest. I was initially disappointed to find that it does NOT have an underwire - however, now that I’m wearing it, it’s not bad as I feared. The shape of the unlined cups give me reasonable support and the separation I desire in a bra. There are seams that go across the front of each breast, so if you are sensitive to that, be aware. I don’t find them annoying as the seams have a lining inside the cup.I’m still expecting, but I fear unclasping the nursing portion will be impossible one-handed - but that also means I feel supported in the front. I prefer Wacoal bras and wear a 38G in that brand, but this bra I wear at the SMALLEST setting on the band, so it runs large in that regard.Overall, ... MoreI purchased this because I SPECIFICALLY wanted a nursing bra for my 38G chest. Better than nothing. Holds us up.

I do not love the satin-like material (stiff and inflexible) or needing 2 hands to unclasp/clasp this bra. However, I have purchased 2 more because it's the only nursing bra that holds me in with my large cup size. I'm tall and busty. It covers the side boob and keeps me from bulging out of the top. Does the job.

Good support with some issues

This is a high quality supportive bra that offers some lift and separation, which is nice for a wire-free nursing bra. This is the second one of this style that I've purchased. Most nursing bras I've tried that don't have an underwire end up fitting like a sports bra and create a huge squished uniboob. That's not a problem here, yay! However, the clips on this bra are harder to open and close than the more common type that just pop up and snap down. It's a little buckle that you have to squeeze both sides to open which can be difficult one-handed with a squirmy baby. It's also a little harder to close since you have to line it up and push it back together. The way the cups are designed is a little restrictive, which may just be the tradeoff for the separation it ... MoreThis is a high quality supportive bra that offers some lift and separation, which is nice for a wire-free nursing bra. It has been an issue for me at times and I think it has contributed to plugged ducts, even without an underwire. For that reason, I think this is a better bra for when you're several months into breastfeeding and your supply is well established and you're not having any engorgement issues.

Great support for larger breast
28 March 2021

Not my first goddess nursing bra! Love the support, Wide straps, and material is sturdy. Has kinda 60s pointy bra look going on, but it keeps them puppies up where their supposed to. Wish the clasp was like the Anita bra where it just lifts up and off. This clasp is hard to squeeze and lift up to release. Also, the opening to nurse is kinda small for my breast, but its manageable. I would recommend to try if wanting a very supportive nursing bra.

Honestly, not for me.
21 May 2023

I purchased this bra because i was tired of the walmart nursing bra i was wearing. I got this bra thinking it would be amazingly supportive and comfortable as well. Unfortunately, the cup size was a bit too big and the band was a bit too scratchy. I've got some fat rolls under my breasts that love to roll up the under cup material causing the bra to dig Into my skin. I wore this bra only a few days and also noticed upper back pain as well. Needless to say I wasted my money and In return got pain from it.

I have had a hard
17 December 2021

I have had a hard time trying to find bra that fit me for mostly all of my “bra wearing” life. I am 26 years old and a size 36H US at 36 weeks pregnant with my first child (34G US pre pregnancy). This is the first nursing bra I have found to accommodate my size and I couldn’t be happier with it. The side support is what caught my eye and although that part of the bra is just the smallest bit too large, I think it will be perfect when my milk comes in and my breasts fluctuate from being full-empty. I feel great physically and mentally in this bra and like I am ready to take on my breastfeeding journey! I will continue ordering my bras from this site well after pregnancy.

I've worn lots of different
17 January 2023

I've worn lots of different nursing bras. This is the worst I've ever bought. Not only is the fit frustrating, but my real issue is with the clips. It takes 2 hands to reclip the opening, which is annoying and difficult when you're holding a baby. This is a terrible design, I can't wait to replace this bra with one more functional.

Sturdy + Comfort = #1 Plus Size Nursing Bra
28 December 2017

I was on baby number three and determined to find a plus size nursing bra that finally worked, having tried numerous other avenues with my other two babies, including having quality plus size bras professionally converted into nursing bras - total fail. Bare Necessities was awesome at connecting me with this AMAZING bra. I took my measurements, chatted with a rep online about fit (she was super fast answering and finding my answers), and ordered about a dozen bras to try on at home. The Goddess Keira won the contest HANDS DOWN. It was very easy to return all the other bras. My baby is three months old and I am super happy with my purchase. I finally bought a second one so I don't have to wash my first one as often. Take the time to fit yourself right! Supportive and well-made
9 March 2016

When my milk came in, I was a 40J and had trouble finding bras in my size that would be supportive and weren't ambiguously sized "XL." Overall, this bra is comfortable, and it provides great structure and shaping. I also like that it has thick shoulder straps.I did have to buy a bra extender (my actual chest measurement was 41). I could wear this without it, but the fit was uncomfortably tight, especially with breastfeeding. Still, that's not that big a deal, and everything else about the bra fits perfectly. The clasps are very sturdy, and are one-hand release; however, it is very difficult to reattach one-handed. If you can't reattach in the midst of feeding, though, the bra can still be pulled back up and will stay and hold drip pads in place.Speaking of drip ... MoreWhen my milk came in, I was a 40J and had trouble finding bras in my size that would be supportive and weren't ambiguously sized "XL." You might need an extender (especially if you've got a lot of baby weight to lose over time), but this bra is very flattering, does its job well, and I get the impression that it will last through a lot of hard use.

This is an excellent maternity
3 May 2024

This is an excellent maternity bra! It provides great support but keeps your breasts separated. Comfortable to wear and looks smooth under all your clothes. The only downside is the clasp is not a standard maternity clip on so it's very difficult to open and close (I found it impossible to do with one hand which is a challenge when you are nursing often). It would also be so great if it came in other colours! Overall an excellent maternity bra that gives you a great shape.
