These lights are so versatile, & when you want to control the light, add the grid. Same as any other light source it wraps around the subject better.

If you don't need bulletproof construction that will hold up to abuse on professional sets, this is good value for the money.I'd give it 5 stars if the back fasteners were velcro instead of fixed flimsy elastic loops.

This is a very necessary accessory for tube lights. They have a great super wide beam angle however, one doesn't always want that. This is well constructed, does what you expect, and it's perfect for narrowing the light output to help focus it in a specific area. Good price.
Somewhat fastidious to install, it does the job of seriously narrowing the beam of light.Once installed, it offers no flexibility, no control on how narrow the beam is.
