RECEIVER DISCONNECTS ALL THE TIME

You can't connect the receiver to a phone if you are using a Beastgrip or Smallrig cage. Actually, you can't connect it even if you are using just a more protective phone case.I tried a lightning extender which works fine with a synco mic and other things. It kept disconnecting.I had to shoot Vox pops in the street so I was forced to remove. my iPhone case. It was the only way to make this thing work: A direct connection with the iPhone.But it made my grasp much weaker as the iPhone is very slippery and does need a good case in order to hold properly.Plus the fact that I NEVER work with my phone without protecting it with a good case. But I had to do with this product. And if you are doing paid work with an iPhone you know that you MUST have a cage where you can put a top light, lenses and, extremely important, ND filters. But you can't use this receiver with a cage.As a matter of fact , you can't use it even with the slim Moment case what eliminates the only option to a case: Moment or Sandmarc cases where you can put filters, lenses etc. But not a top light.Anyway, this is no good and is going back. I will look for a better product. I only chose Godox because you can transform it in a handheld reporter mic. It was a mistake.
