I am in the process of replacing my old Redhead 800W Tungsten Halogen video lights which have served me well for decades. I selected these Godox SZ200Bi's as a close replacement, but also noted the ability to operate at the 2800oK colour temperature so that they could be intermixed with the redheads as I transitions. I also have some Bowens studio flashes and the ability to use the stands, soft box and umbrellas from those was a big factor in my selection. So far I have been extremely impressed with the Godox SZ200Bis; so much so I just acquired my second.

Excellent value, great build quality

I will preface this review by saying that my experience with different video lights is limited. The only other kit I have extensive experience using is a low-cost GVM kit with 3 lights.The first thing that struck me about these Godox lights is the build quality. They look and feel like they should be a lot more expensive. The dials are solid, the AC adapter plug and socket are very secure and most importantly the light is bright! Love the ability to quickly change color temp and love that all of my Bowens mount modifiers work. I'm able to add so much beautiful soft light into a scene, these are going to make my life shooting video so much better.The FX feature is cool but the jury is still out on whether or not that will be useful for me. Also note that in order to go fanless/silent, the power cannot be above 35%. That being said, the fan is so quiet and in the shoots I've done so far the noise has not been an issue. And at 35%, the light is still VERY bright, definitely still very suitable especially indoors.Overall, I am extremely happy with these lights. Since they are a new product by Godox, the longevity of the bulb and other internals is yet to be seen, but from my experience with other Godox products, I'm thinking these will last a while.

Poor Zoom Functionality - Terrible Customer Support

The light is okay. The zoom functionality does not do very much so don't get sold on that feature. One of the lights we purchased make a high pitched noised when it was on, we tried contacting Godox but there customer service is very poor, it has been months and they still have not issued an RMA.
