This is a pretty great light for the price. Worked right out of the box and I was able to control light output via my Godox App. Unfortunately I couldn't say the same for the 60 that I purchased along with this one. Oh and did I mention, the light is SILENT. Great for video shooting for sure!

It has completely silent operation, fantastic build quality and hardware, and great light output and quality. It's a bummer it doesn't come with a remote or case, but for around $200 I don't think this will be a big issue. The controller is great, looks and feel professional. As a main key light for live webinars and other video and it is nearly perfect. I'm using it with a small 24x24 softbox and rarely have to put it higher than 25% power. The external PSU is large and bulky and it doesn't come with the RC-A5II remote...these are the only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. Because it has bowens mount I can use it with all my existing modifiers. Really great piece of gear and complete silent.
Lights arrived quickly and well packaged. Build quality seems really good so far. I was expecting them to be brighter though, I spent some time trying to understand the variations in light specs from lux to lumens and various distances. I did debate returning them for the UL150 but it is a big jump in price. In my studio, they will be ok as I can control ambient light and increase brightness through camera ISO. However, I dont think these would work well in a brighter environment. The falloff distance is significant beyond 6’ and if you want to soften with modifiers it drops off even quicker.It’s a good light but be aware of your output needs, go for the UL150 if your budget allows.
I original tested an SL60 as the key light for doing tutorial videos. It looked great, but the fan noise was an issue with the close proximity to the microphones. Then I learned about the UL60 - fantastic! Got it set up and it's just a little brighter (about 10%) than the SL60, so I was able to reduce my camera's ISO setting, which was also a nice bonus. The UL60 is heavier than I expected, but still did okay on my mid grade stand. Coupled with a nice soft box it gives me just what I was looking for! Beyond that, Adorama was great to work with in getting it here quickly!
This light makes zero noise and still doesn't get hot. For some reason, it appears to be the only light like this on the market. Since I deal with music and I hate having to deal with background noise, its the only choice for me!
Good build quality, but I could not use this in a setup with three other UL-150s because the UL-60 was noticeably more magenta.You would think that Godox would make sure lights within a series are reasonably well matched.
