I bought one from Myer at Roselands in the New Year sales and I was very pleased with it. It has all the features I need (variable speed, oscillation etc.) I wanted another desk fan so I bought a cheaper one from K-Mart, but is was poor quality and I regretted buying it. I returned it and ordered another Goldair desk fan online from Myer in Bankstown. So now I have 2, and I couldn’t be happier. Good quality and reasonable price - just what I like!

Fantastic fans. We purchased 2 for each room. Quiet and effective.
Fan blows strongly. It can oscillate or stay still. Metal fan blade cover, remaining exterior parts are plastic including fan blades. Easy enough to assemble and fit for purpose. I am happy with value for money. It keeps me cool in the office.
Fan is great for those really hot humid days, when your air conditioning doesn't get into those corners.
Noisy compared to others, with poor air flow. Basically a waste of money. I bought two, and will return one - I'll keep the other for another house where it's used less.
Nice small profile & quiet. Easy to assemble too. Works well in our bedroom.
