Believe it or not but I read the previous reviews before purchasing, one review had said it arrived broken and that the quality was poor and that the next one broke... I thought, surely that's a once-off or exaggerated... I was wrong. Mine was delivered today and it was cracked across the top where the switch is. Poor internal packaging/poor quality plastic is likely to blame. Giving 1 star as quality is poor and value for money doesn't count if its broken/breaks easily and you have to waste time chasing up a new one. It's too hot for that! Called JB right away and spoke to 'on-line' team who organised to send one out for tomorrow... hopefully its not broken too.

This super quiet fan has a small footprint and is perfect for my side of the bedroom. The fan’s three speed settings suit any conditions and the variable oscillation settings allow the air to circulate exactly where I want it to. I was surprised at how reasonably priced this fan is- much cheaper than its competitors and excellent value for your money.

Pretty strong fan. Makes a creaky sound when oscillating but without using the oscillating option, it’s fine. The height is probably suitable for exposure from ground to a table height, only covers lower body. So, if you have a pretty high bed or want to use it for a higher area, probably go for the fans that has adjustable height option. A good thing bout this fan is it’s good for people who have limited spaces as it does not have a wide stand as compared to other fans. Other than that, this fan serves its purpose for me, so it’s a pretty good buy for me.

I have two of these. One in my room and one in my babies room. They are great. I really only ever need them on level 2 and they cool the room enough. Not loud at all.
Noisy especially with the oscillating function is on, wind does not reach far to circulate the room well enough. Only good thing is that it is light, easy to move around.
I bought two of these to take camping. They performed very well, providing a nice breeze that helped us sleep in the heat. They have a small footprint which means they take up very little floor space. They are reasonably quiet too.
Full blast, sitting maybe 90cm away and I can barely feel it.Buy a desk/pedestal fan.Better yet, spend a bit more and get a Vornado-type fan
Cheap build. One was broken when I opened the box. I went back to replace it. Then the second one broke within a day from the slightest knock. It cools well but will be on hard rubbish soon ...
Great product and cools the area down. Only fault I can find is that the lead needs to be longer for areas where you don't have a power point close to the ground eg use in kitchen and the powerpoint is above the bench means I have to put it on the bench to use. Given it is a slimline fan it doesn't take up too much space.
This fan is easy to assemble. It needs space around it when working approximately a metre free but the instructions are clear. The cooling is good. The price is affordable. I am finding it to be a sound purchase.
