I love the Golden fluid acrylic paints. I love their opaqueness and or the transparency kinds too. I love the different varieties of oranges, reds, purples and pinks for my whimsical characters. My art is self healing process, it’s unrealistic childlike with lots of rich colours, mixed with collage, texture in a mixed media style mof art. I love to swatch them out in my art journals. Painting with rich vibrant colours brings me happiness.

Golden "Green Gold" cannot be mixed. A luscious glowing green. I can create ANY green from it. Other brands are not the same. I have tried them all. Plus! Golden paints are made in the USA.. This special pigment can be paired with any red to create a focal point that pops. BEST! I highly recommend it. As ALWAYS Jerrys is preferred supplier. Best price, packaging and fastest and delivery,

Golden paints have been my tried and true for many years now. As an acrylic artist, I've experimented with many different fluidities of paints from heavy body to these fluid acrylics and I've been so pleased with smoothness of the fluids. This Bone Black was an essential addition to my color collection as it is a mild enough shade that it doesn't overpower other colors when mixed. Golden Fluid Acrylics Bone Black works great for darkening a color up a shade or two to add shadows and dimension to a painting. I highly recommend purchasing any Golden paints from Michael's. Michael's has never done me wrong. The quality of their products is always consistent and their service is always fast and easy.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but couldn't help but feel obligated to say something about the first persons review. Who obviously has no experience working with this particular type/brand of paint. Mixing and stirring isn't your issue.Obviously, I do very little mixing (usually you just shake the bottle) but if you're mixing multiple paints together. A lot of times. I put the paint into a separate tube or small, container to mix for literally 10-15 seconds. The reason why they are streaky for you, is because they are Fluid acrylics really meant to be used with airbrush, paint markers, etc. So the consistency is much more fluid, therefore, it's not going to be an opaque solution that you can glob on with pallete knife. It's almost like it's close to a watercolor paint, or if you added a lot of thinning/airbrush medium or even a lot of water to a normal soft or heavy body acrylic. Golden makes a very high quality paint and are one of the few companies that are exploring and raising the bar by creating these new fluid acrylics on a professional level. I use these paints all the time, because of their unique attributes, yet one needs to know what is the right time and place for these pants in order to use them appropriately and get the intended and desired effects. No disrespect intended for the first reviewer, but when noticing how many other customers found their review "helpful", I felt it was my artist-teacher responsibility to verbally illustrate accurate facts because the first review was extremely misleading. I do not work for Golden, I didn't even give them 5 stars because they can improve this product but it is a very good product and not like anything the first reviewer said. and any potential customers that read her or my review should at least try it for themselves because personally, I feel it's one of the highest quality product / brand in the fluid and high flow acrylics field. the product is a high enough quality where it is definitely6 worth giving it a shot, where you can personally make your own decision on whether to continue using them or not. just remember that they are Fluid acrylics so using them appropriately when you want a very fluid and liquidy type paint is important. There is a time and place to correctly use every type of product and knowing when to use that certain type will greatly affect year-end results.
I love this brand! It's the best! GOLDEN is TRULY GOLDEN! I paint alPat everyday and this is the greatest most smooth acrylic paint to use and I add liquid acrylic, water color and oil also. It's just divine! Thank you for supplying us with these art supplies Michael's! You're my favorite store and so grateful you exist!
Golden Fluid has the best pigments in acrylic paints, IMO. The paints are perfect consistency, as well, for the type of art I do. True colors, great consistency, and stays glossy when dry. What's not to love? This particular color is a perfect blendof bluish purple and I have used it both for a background in its pure color and as an accent, with a bit of white added to it. Both LOVELY colors.
I hadn't used zinc white in a long time and instead was using solely titanium white. I like this color and product very much. The texture of the paint is perfect for my use. I paint in thin layers, building depth of color slowly. This paint flows and is easy to mix and to thin out.I was pleased that the zinc white is somewhat more transparent than the titanium and it is helping me with some soft clouds I am working on.
I have been using the Golden Fluid line of paint for probably 10 years now. It is absolutely fabulous for illustrating, mixing color and is super easy to work with. I was particularly interested in getting the primary cyan, magenta and yellow this time, and am so happy I did. I can pretty much just use these three colors plus black and white to simply and easily mix into the exact shades and colors I'm looking for.I don't have many issues with this paint, although I wouldn't recommend it for someone that is looking for texture, or needs a really heavy sort of coverage. For example when I'm painting in watercolor, I will often use a white acrylic to add highlights once the piece is dry. The white from the Fluids is not able to completely cover without multiple applications. I use tube acrylics at that point, still the Golden brand which I enjoy working with. They can also be combined with the fluids, which is nice when you want your paint a little thinner. They do dry fast, especially when using a palette, because they are thinner. I almost never mix with water unless I'm looking for a gouache type texture. I know people pour with these, I have not, but I'd imagine they're good for that. They can be pretty expensive though, so I can't imagine pouring them!
