I love how these are mostly white to go wither everything but there is a pop of neon on the back. They are comfortable. They are really comfy, the sole is well padded. I like the midrise, I can wear really short ankle socks and they pretty much are hidden. I wore them a couple of times and got so many compliments. This is my second pair of GGs, can't wait to add more to my closet.

I went with the midstars because I'm pretty short (5'1) and the hightops were way too long and looked awkward. The mid-stars are perfect and are low enough to feel like I can wear them with just about anything!These specifically are so fun because they look GG but are still neutral!

Nice leather, but that's about all I can say about these shoes. The insoles are uncomfortable, especially at the toe area, the laces are garbage and frankly, as a fellow designer, I feel like they are trying WAAAAAAAY too hard to achieve a dirty-scuffed look. Given the lack-of-comfort and distressed look, why not just buy a cheap pair of converse and wear them often/down? You'll get the same result and save roughly $400+. Run true to size and width.

I love all my GGBDs. But needed a clean white sneaker for dresses and more polished looking outfits. These stardans are the best! It’s like an elevated Nike Air Force but 10x more comfortable and stylish (and thus 10x the $$ lol). My go-to style is usually the GGDB ballstar and I am a size 38. But for the stardan i am a size 39, which is my size in the superstar. Love the clean, white, sporty look. Oh and they are the lightest GGDBs IMO. Super lightweight and super comfortable. Love, love, love! I think the other reviewer should’ve sized up for added comfort. The toe box in the stardan is shorter. But for me, no break-in time required. I’m usually 7.5 and followed the recommendation to order next size up. It’s a bit large but I used flat socks and it was perfect! Don’t expect durability from the silver/metallic shoelaces, so I replaced mine with black.
I felt that these ran big. I’m a true 7.5 and have a 38 in mid-stars that fit great. My heel was sliding out of these which were a 38 too. They also were not as cute on as they are in the picture. Honestly, they looked like a very over the top bowling shoe :/. These got returned.
The insoles of these shoes are hard as a rock there is no cushion also the back of the shoe there is no padding or anything to make you feel comfortable in this shoe. They just feel so cheap for the price - returned
