Terribly disappointed in the color. They are for a team gift. Ordered the royal/yellow. They came in and look NOTHING like the color shown. They are medium blue and GREEN. The yellow shown in every photo is yellow. The yellow is applied so thinly to the blue grip..that it visually is green. Too bad the ad photos don't show true visual colors..I mean..these are so you can match team colors ..right?

Currently my favorite grip - to the point that I cut off brand new grips on new clubs and install these. I wouldn't say that the reduced taper is any kind of game changer, but I just like that it feels like I am not getting the club too much into the fingers of my lower/dominate hand. Also, the tackiness is superb. I don't play too much in the rain to comment on the wet weather playability.

Best overall grip on the market today. Other grips will spoil you, until you find you have to replace them at least once a season. I've tried most of the best ones over the decades. These give MUCH longer wear and more feedback. The feel may put some people off as it's not "spongy", but they're very easy to hold on to. And I hit the ball hard and play by feel which is where the jumbo size comes into play. It allows much more control for your hands over your shot shape. Less important for high handicappers, but I play blades rather than game improvement irons. These will make you feel good regardless, the only con being the price disparity between regular, midsize and jumbo grips. Jumbo is far too expensive for what you actually get, but makes all kinds of difference ... MoreBest overall grip on the market today. The biggest pro is how long they last vs. something like the Winn Dri-Tacs which feel great new but virtually dissolve over a year or so. I count the feedback you feel as a pro as well.

I ordered a set of clubs direct from the factory with these grips on them and was a big fan of them. As a beginner, I didn't really have anything to compare them against though. I recently got a few wedges from a friend and used them with the grips they came with and didn't like them nearly as much, plus it felt like I wasn't getting as good of a hold on the club. I had the PGA Store regrip them to the MCC Plus 4 and the clubs feel 100 times better in my hands now. I definitely plan to continue using these grips in the future and would recommend them.
Fantastic grips. Recommended by my fitter. So thankful he recommended these. They feel great in your hands. Definitely feel a difference playing with these on my irons. Shipping was fast. Got them within 3 days and was able to put on before first tournament of the season. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good grip that can compete with the tour velvet.
I've been a long time MCC user. When they released the +4 version, I fell in love with the reduced taper and have been using them since they came out. I love that i can use a drop or two of dawn and a toothbrush to get these feeling new after a few rounds. Durability is great. Now with the team colors, I'm able to rep my Texas Longhorns! I was worried after reading one of the reviews about the color being off, but after seeing it in store I ordered direct from the website.
I went to the Mall of Georgia store looking for a golf bag. I didn't see what I wanted so I spoke with an associate (Luke) in golf department who went out of his way to call another store. They had what I was looking for. I went to the Athens, GA store where they had it on hold. While I was there, I found a pre own driver that I like. I ask the associate if I could try it out and he went out his way to turn the lights so I could hit. After trying it, I bought it. Then asked if he could cut it down to fit and regrip it because I am only 4'11". He did it in five minutes. David Wilson
I've always played midsize grips with 1 extra wrap to help take my right hand out of the swing in order to reduce hook shots. The idea to build up the lower end of the grip, reducing the taper, is a great idea from Golf Pride. I've played 3 rounds with them now and will definitely be buying them again when it's time to re-grip.I would have given them 5 stars, except for the fact that they don't come in more options. The top half of the grip is cord, which I'm not a fan of.
Being 76 years old, I have used cord grips for many years. I also use anXL glove size. Therefore the new MCC plus 4 midsize grips fit the bill well. Being in northern Wisconsin, both ends of the golf season are quite cold. Then midseason the humidity can be elevated. Because of these conditions I chose the Golf Pride MCC plus 4 midsize. The Packer green-gold was a bonus.
Took my clubs in for re-gripping. Had a great conversation with the Dick's employee in the golf section. He reviewed the options in a detailed fashion, making all options transparent. I selected what worked best for me, left the clubs with him and a day and a half later had all 10 irons back and ready to go. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Love the feel fo my new grips- and they look great too!
