I saw and bought a set of these when looking for grips to replace my current ones. As I was regripping my clubs myself, I wondered a little about how hard it would be to install the grips straight and consistently from club to club, but the red line made that really easy. The ridge is big enough that you can feel it, but not so big the you don't have some flexibility in where the ridge sits in your fingers. You can strengthen or weaken your grip without issue, and you have immediate tactile feedback in your hands to consistently set your grip relative to the face of the club. The rubber itself feels like the Golf Pride grips I previously had, and I'm sure it will be very durable.

These grips are awesome. They are well worth the money. My brother has the MCC ALIGN’s and I can confidently say I like the feel of these better. Probably just personal preference. The only complaint I have: BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHO YOU LET PUT THESE ON. I got them installed at my local Dicks and the young kid stretched them way too long and the ALIGN strip on the back was extremely crooked. I had to get them taken off by a professional at my golf club and reinstalled. Luckily the grips went back to their normal length. Just want to caution two things: 1. Make sure the ALIGN is completely straight and 2. The installer does not over stretch them

Was never a fan of the old ribbed grips, but the new Align changed all that with it's wider reminder ridge. have them on all my irons and basically everything without an adjustable hosel that isn't Callaway (most designs require rotating the shaft so they arent really suitable, Callaway does not). Tour Velvet plus Align? Money. Plus they have it in midsize for us bananna-hands.

I recently replaced the grips on my 5 wood and rescue hybrid with these Align grips vs the standard Tour Velvet. They feel just like the stock grip but the align helps me to ensure my grip is correct. I have the other multi-compound grip with align on my driver and noticed that it changed the way my driver felt. I am thinking the multi-compound grip may be a little heavier? If you want your woods to feel the same, but with the align, I recommend these grips.
Great feel and durability. I do not agree, however, that the align grip style will necessarily provide assistance in any type of alignment in terms of ensuring your stance is perfectly aligned to your target. But it does provide some visual help - I just prefer its feel.
Tour Velvet Align grips stand out at the most comfortable, durable, and score lowering grip on the market. They create a solid connection to the club. Some grips I have tried are soft and wear out quickly, others are solid as a rock and slippery, these are the best middle ground. The align ridge gives feedback about how the club is set into my fingers. For some this will the align rib will getting used to, but it's worth it.
I have ben struggling with smalll factory grips for years. My hands are not huge by any means however I doo wear an Extra Large Rt Hand glove. The small or regular grips I find myself squeezing them to try and feel the narrow club shaft. With the Medium Grip and even the larger grip I find my hands are not squeezing the club, my hands are comfortably holding the grip and club, the align section gives me the touch feedback that my club face is properly aligned, allowing me to put more "tempo" into my swing. That increase of tempo and less tension on the club seems to result in longer straighter drives. I also find that my entire game is more relaxed and I am not worn out from intense swinging when the round is complete. So I suppose I would say that I absolutely love ... MoreI have ben struggling with smalll factory grips for years. I just bought 13 Tour Velvet grips. Its not to say that the grips are not effective and that the "Align" function does not fulfil their purpose - but, in my opinion, there is no difference in performance of these new grips compared to the old grips with internal "reminder" - just the innovation in an external red stripe and a severe price increase..
Golf pride has a huge issue, their gri;s are getting super expensive and worse. The +4 midsize in the tour velvet, tour velvet align and mcc align are not even close to the same size. You would think that midsize in a certain brand would feel the same across all of their midsize produces but they do not. So if you want to spend $250 please don't "try" the align because i just wasted $250 for having all of my clubs done. Very disappointing. BTW, the tour velvet midsize align are smaller and way harder on your hands than any other tour velvet made from GP
