Very small tolerances (+_1mm) make these difficult to install. They self close but need a hefty tug to open which was apparent when handling the sliders before installation and requires a grab handle on your drawer. cocealed or otherwise.I prefere Bunnings old non self closing product that I have on yhe old drawer alongside this new one

Cheap but difficult to set up

Before choosing these sliders be sure to download and read the Goliath Installation Instructions carefully to ensure you can meet the requirements. These sliders are easy to install, but not easy to set up. The installation instructions call for the slider width to be 12.7mm +/- 0.2mm: This is not what the slider is, this is defined by the distance from the inside of your cabinet and outside of your drawer. If you are not able to control that dimension to 12.7mm +/- 0.2mm the slider latch mechanism will not work properly. Parallelism of the sliders is also very important, as is ensuring the sliders are lined up at the front to ensure they latch on each side at the same time (+/- 2 mm). Don't fully extend, difficult to access once installed

I bought some of these slimline slides, and some regular slides.Don't buy the slimlines. They don't have the multiple telescopic parts of most drawer slides, so they only extend a fraction of their length. Unless you install it right at the outer edge of your drawer space, you can't even access the lever to remove them again, they don't extend far enough. I had to forcefully tank the drawers out to remove these before returning for a refund.

Great result for a great price!
7 June 2023

I bought this maybe a month back to replace the broken bottom mount slides that were on the keyboard tray of a desk. I'm very satisfied. There is no flex to the tray now unlike the previous style and it extends beyond the allowances of the original rail. I now intend to put these on the desks other drawers.

Poor design
15 November 2022

I have two pairs of these, and a good mate of mine bought 4 pairs. They have all broken, there’s a small orange plastic bit that has consistently been a problem on all the ones we have used. One of them even broke before it was even put on the drawers. Would not recommend this product for anyone.

Poor quality
1 August 2021

Carpenter turned handyman with lots of experience in kitchens and bathrooms especially working with cabinet runners.Built some bedside tables and used these runners for the 3 drawers. Worked fine for a while, until I pulled one of the drawers out on a slight angle, which dismounted the drawer runner from the cabinet runner, when I realigned and pushed drawer back in,the ball-bearing jumped out all over the place.I thought taskmaster was cheap rubbish but these are of very poor construction.

Pull force to open drawer is the downfall of this product
7 March 2023

I agree with Dan's review. I bought four pairs of these slides to replace the standard ones. I wish I didn't make that change. If you don't care for the soft close feature, the standard version from this brand is great.1) Pull force - both standard and soft close have certain resistance to pull the drawer out, the standard ones is light and acceptable (like finger pulling), however the soft close ones require actual arm muscle to pull, not just fingers. 2) Installation - When I read Dan's review, I thought the first push won't be that bad, it might be similar to the standard ones. Yes and no. Initially, the soft close mechanism was out, I tried to push the slides in with a lot of force, even with my feet, nothing happens, I didn't want to bang into it to break ... MoreI agree with Dan's review. Yes and no. Initially, the soft close mechanism was out, I tried to push the slides in with a lot of force, even with my feet, nothing happens, I didn't want to bang into it to break anything. A while later, I realise I can release the mechanism back to original position (see picture) by pushing the white bit using a screwdriver. Then the push force for installation is the same as the standard ones, light force only. 3) Instruction is too simple for first time DIYer. Also, step 1 is always missing because that is where the cardboard paper stick together for the packaging. All in all, for the price, it is acceptable. However, with the resistance of pull force, it surely won't be good for the drawer front and hardware when I pull the drawer multiple times daily.

Strong and sturdy
18 February 2023

I bought this to replay an old pairs of drawers slides with wheels, just need to screw in where I took the old screws off, finished the job in 10 mins. Looks great and feels strong. If it is for new installation, probably just need to align the screws use a measuring tap.

Terrible and misleading instructions
13 November 2022

The product is actually OK. Not great, but its alrightTl:dr - you need bolts with counter sunk heads.Ths instructions are atrocious at best. Firstly they are on the join of glued cardboard so near impossible to open without ripping.Secondly at no point does it mention the gauge of the bolts required. They display illustrations of "standard" bolts, neglecting to mention that of you want the slides to actually function and close, they MUST be counter sunk bolts or the slides hit even the lowest profile bolt heads and won't close.Absolute joke. Poor effort, minimal effort and sadly yet another example of Bunnings supplying low quality products.

Zero Quality Control
22 April 2022

Having bought 18 sets of Goliath Drawer Slides for my Kitchen I thought I would leave a quick reviewOverall I like the build quality, however, every single packet has had quality control steps overlookedEvery packet has one or more of the following issues:- missing screw(s)- screw without thread (see photo)- screw with metal inside the head (see photo, cannot fit screwdriver)- inconsistent pull force of the slides once installed (when compared to other slides)Another nuisance is the force required to push the drawer all the way in for the first time. The force was so great on one set that it ended up breaking the soft close mechanismManufacturer needs to fire the team that overlook these minor nuisances. Reluctant to use this brand in future
