"Healthier" but not as flavorful!

(It says it contains only naturally occurring sugars, but Stevia, while derived from a plant, is chemically lab-processed in a way that makes it generally not great for humans. But that's just my personal aversion to it.) It seems like this jam doesn't have much Stevia though, because it isn't very sweet, and with the lack of sweetness came a lack of flavor. But in the end, jam with sugar (or dates or agave or some real sweetener) wins out for me. For those avoiding sugar, this is an excellent option - just use a lot to get the flavor you'll want!

You get a taste of craftsmanship and flavor that you would exspect from a local farmers market but in the big store convenience. You know are eating something that you can feel good about eating even without reading the label. The texture makes them perfect for so many recipes, even in cocktails. I have seen other reviews talk about the price is a little higher, but to those I ask "higher than what"? It's not a smack in price compared to smack in the face that some brands have sumuckered us into buying jams made of mostly sugar with flavoring extracted from other fruits blended to mimic the flavor of the fruit the jam is called. Good Good gives you just that. If you buy Strawberry Jam, it has strawberries, not pear flavoring with loads of sugar to taste like a strawberry. Which really confuses but concerns me more because a pear and strawberry from the produce aisles taste more different than alike. I probadly confused you now, but take some time to read your labels and you will see my point. In conclusion, It feels good, to know I am spending my good money, on good foods that is good for my family with goods when I buy from "Good, Good". My goodness how can you go wrong with "Good Good" jams and spreads!

Good Good Strawberry Jam Review
25 August 2024

I tried the Good Good Strawberry Jam No Added Sugar. I like that the product is all natural and not super sweet as so many similar products are. However, the taste and texture was lacking to me and not what I prefer in my jam or preserves. I think I much prefer other natural brands (such as Bonne Maman) that at least incorporate some natural sugars, and which have an appealing color and texture as well. The texture of the Good Good jam was loose, somewhat watery and lumpy, I found the color to be unappealingly pale, and the taste was so mild without a strong strawberry taste. I feel like I've had natural strawberries that are sweeter and have a strong strawberry taste. Overall, I was not satisfied with the product.

Great tasting jam without the added sugar
2 January 2024

Have you ever picked up a regular jar of jam and looked at the amount of added sugar it contains, especially considering that a serving size is usually fairly small? It's usually lot. Not bad, but prefer regular jam
12 January 2024

* I received a voucher to try this product for free, I tried the strawberry flavorI actually thought the taste of this was pretty good and honestly didn’t have the same “artificial taste” that many low sugar products have. Mixed in with peanut butter, I couldn’t really tell the difference between this and a full sugar jam. The texture was also nice and was easy to spread on a sandwich. That being said, it’s not a product I would purchase again as I personally prefer products without artificial sweeteners (this one has stevia + erythritol). I have a brand of low-sugar jam that I buy which simply has less cane sugar rather than an artificial sweetener to lower the sugar content and costs about half the price as the GOOD GOOD brand. If you need low sugar content in ... More* I received a voucher to try this product for free, I tried the strawberry flavorI actually thought the taste of this was pretty good and honestly didn’t have the same “artificial taste” that many low sugar products have. Not for me
29 January 2024

I like the flavor options for this product. Also like that it is a no sugar product with stevia instead of sugar… However, it has erythritol in it which always upsets my stomach so it is a no go ingredient in any food product for me. I don’t understand why no sugar added products use erythritol at all as it a known gastrointestinal issue for many. Why not just stick to stevia only ? Or just the fruit itself? That would make me buy this but I can’t due to the added erythritol. The jam is also a thinner consistency than I like. This could be amazing if erythritol was not added and it was just a bit thicker like traditional jams and jellies are. I will not be purchasing this product again due to the above reasons.

Solid Low-Calorie Spread!
23 January 2024

Well, it took me a couple of months to find this product in a Harris Teeter store (the map detailing where this product is available is incorrect on Social Nature's website), but I finally got my hands on it! I purchased a 12oz jar of their Strawberry Jam, which seems to be one of their most popular products. It normally goes for around $6-10 depending on the location/sale status, which is pretty pricey for a jam/jelly product, but it is a more "natural" product, with a relatively short list of ingredients, and natural sweeteners instead of artificial ones like most other low-calorie, low-sugar jams. Calorie-wise, this is certainly on par with other "lite" jams, at 5 cal/tbsp, but I think that it tastes fresher and more flavorful (since the product is almost 60% ... MoreWell, it took me a couple of months to find this product in a Harris Teeter store (the map detailing where this product is available is incorrect on Social Nature's website), but I finally got my hands on it! There's a bit of a bitter aftertaste from the stevia, but that's a small thing, and you're going to get that with every product that isn't sweetened with a standard sweetener. Overall, if this product went on sale, I would certainly buy it again, since it's a low-calorie product with ingredients to be proud of!

Tasty jam with decent ingredients!
31 August 2024

I sampled Good Good Natural Sweetness brand Strawberry Jam. The product comes in a glass jar with a metal cap, containing 12 oz. of product. There are 11 ingredients, with citric acid as a preservative. There are 5 calories and one gram of net carbs per one tablespoon serving. The selling point of the Good Good brand is that there is no added sugar, with additional sweetening provided by erythritol and stevia. The taste was subtly strawberry, with a slight tang and a pleasant aftertaste. The lack of additional sugar is a great feature, as it is not to sweet as to allow sweetness to get in the way of the flavor profile. There are eight other flavors of Good Good jams, plus crunchy & creamy peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut spreads available.

Very tasty and low on calories and sugar
24 January 2024

I got the strawberry jelly. My first impression is that the jar has a cute label, size is comparable to other jellies and jams on the shelf. When I opened it, the color isn’t the most appealing, but the taste is really good. I eat peanut butter and strawberry jelly almost every day. It’s one of my favorite things to eat. I normally get a store brand of sugar free jelly. The Good Good taste is so much better, and has less calories. It tastes like sweet strawberries, not in that fake way that other products have. In a Good Good way. I also compared ingredients between Good Good and my usual brand. Good Good has a much shorter list with ingredients I recognized. It’s a really good jelly and I’m glad I got to try it. I’ll be buying this product again for sure.
