I have bought this twice & i love it so much!! I had a scar on my nose & with in two weeks it lightened & its almost gone! HOWEVER PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOX. Also, do not mix this immediately with another serum/moisturizer because it will get griddy/ get peely on your skin. You have to give it at least 20 minutes to dry & let your skin soak it in before adding other skincare. I usually put it on at night followed by an eye cream & a light amount of moisturizer. Keep your skincare routine light when using this.

I was a little stumped because it felt like the vitamin c serum from this brand was no longer working. So I decided to try this one and im SO glad I did!!! My skin ate this serum right uppp. It does go on a bit more tacky and much less liquidy like the other serum but in almost two months my skin was essentially clear AND my oiliness was so under control! I'm sad to see the negative reviews. I love this product. It's hard to find products without Hyaluronic Acid (or Sodium Hyaluronate) as it tends to make me break out with fluid-filled acne. I have combo aging skin. It's a serum, it absorbs very fast to dry tightness, I was originally surprised by how fast and dry. But I follow up with basic moisturizer and all is good and glowy. Good packaging, as vitamin c oxidizes easily. It has helped my skin tone look more even, although not as pore minimizing as I hoped for. I will continue to use this product, it a great price.

I have sensitive combination dry skin. I have built up a good tolerance to strong products and did not experience any peeling, like many reviewers have. I think key is to use alone or only combine with niacinimide, not acids or retinol. My skin looked beautiful and glowy the next morning. Definitely recommend for a super affordable and effective evening Vitamin C treatment. The texture is a little odd, so I would not use this during the day under makeup.
I've used this for a week so about 3 times. This is my first vitamin c and I love it so far. Of course, I've no basis of comparison. I apply it when my face is still pretty damp after washing. No pilling so far, and it may be placebo, but I noticed a difference with the first try. My skin is more dull from hormone issues, and this noticeably brightened me up, as someone that doesn't always wear makeup.Minus one point for the breakouts. But I read that's normal. Just sucks because I never have acne.I'll keep trying for a month. Worth the cheap price so far.
I love this product, but it can be sensitizing in the beginning. When I first started this, I didn’t know why my skin was irritated and more dry, but I realized it was this new product. I had to restart and slowly integrate it into my routine by applying it every other day and increasing usage slowly. That was fine for me, but a heads up for other people who are more sensitive that me.It also pills a lot for me no matter how much I try to alter the application process. Again, it’s okay for the most part, but when I’m applying make up, it makes me make up patchy and unpleasant.Overall, I love this product though. It has made my skin so much brighter! I will keep using this, but I hope formulation changes so it doesn’t pill so much.
It's a thick cream compared to the more milky / watery Vit C serums I've tried. I don't like the texture it has on dry down which is where my 2 stars come from. Combined with the rest of my morning skincare it feels like an almost slimy barrier on my face. It also made my face primers pill up, but that may be a conflict in the primers composition.I can't speak toward effectiveness, but it at least has not caused significant breakouts (some pimples here and there, but my skin tends to respond to changes in any face product with a small pimple or two)Would not purchase again, but for the price it was good to experiment.
I've tried to use this product in so many ways - on dry skin, on damp skin, alone, under a moisturizer after waiting 30 minutes, under a moisturizer after 5 minutes - and it almost always dries to leave a weird white, flaky film that looks like super dry skin around my eyebrows, mouth, and jawline.After applying sunscreen, it just seems to pill so I just try to wipe away the excess so as not to redo my routine and waste money. It's really frustrating because I have noticed a positive difference in my complexion since using this, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong or how to fix this issue. I use all GM products so I don't think anything is conflicting..
I've been using it nightly for about two weeks now and I can see my complexion is brighter than before. I've not suffered any breakouts from it so far. I have not experienced any of the pilling I've seen others mention.I only use it at night. My regimen is washing with Tula purifying cleanser, then layer three pumps of Kate Somerville hydrakate recharging serum. Once that completely dries, I add two pumps of this, then I layer with Tula 24-7 moisture intense. Twice a week I also exfoliate with Kate Somerville exfolikate intensive treatment.My face is incredibly soft and now brighter than before. I don't think I'll ever stop using this stuff. I usually suffer from dryness, but that has gone away recently too.
I've been using this product for over a month and a half and it has greatly helped fade my post acne dark spots. and it has also helped lighted around my mouth/mustache area. I've read comments that it piles after using other products on top. it did that on my first two uses then realized I wasn't letting the product dry before adding my next skin step routine. you have to let it dry down completely before adding another product. keep patting and fanning ur face until it has no sticky feeling. so far it works with my sunscreen and foundations.
