I'm familiar with folding phones, with my last 3 phones being the Samsung Z fold 2,3,&4. I wasn't crazy about the narrow outer screen so I thought I'd give the Pixel Fold a try. When you open the Pixel, you almost always have to turn it sideways to utilize the screen in the best aspect ration, at least the ZFold it the proper orientation when opened.-Google is one step from Apple with forcing its layout on the user. I really hated not being and to utilize the top of the home screen or being able to remove the Google Search bar from the home screen.....this is just to name a few things. I wouldn't take one of these phones again if someone gave it to me and paid me to use it! I was so glad to get rid of it. If you're looking to try a folding phone, go to the ZFold line.

An Amazing Device!

This phone is amazing! I've used a number of phones just this year. I purchased a Fold3 when it was released and had been using it since launch. When the new iPhone 14 Pro Max I used that for a couple of months, but went back to my Fold3. Then the s23U came out and I was jumping between the s23U and the Fold3.I really enjoyed the Fold3, except for the external screen, I would end up just opening the phone to do simple stuff like messages, the outside screen is just too narrow for me.The Pixel Fold is my perfect folding phone. I traded in my iPad Mini and iPhone in order to get the fold and so happy that I did.I thought that going Android would be a headache from iOS and iPadOS but it really hasn't. I have found workarounds with iMessage and Apple Pay. I like that you can still share information but the bigger files you can create a web link and the person you are sending it to can just download the content. I have been able to do some light gaming on the device with no issues, like COD and Diablo. I was able to connect my Xbox controller was able to start playing right away.The Camera has been awesome, especially in low light, my wife thinks that the photos in low light come out brighter than what she was able to take using her iPhone 14.Yes, Google is not as mainstream as Samsung, but you should not let that in the way of trying this great device. If you can get your hands on one I encourage you to buy it.

Couldn't be happier!

Couldn't be happier with this phone. I was after a tablet to go along with my old phone. With this one, I don't need that. I love how it's wider than my previous phone when folded. It's heavier but not too noticeable once you're used to it. I actually prefer a bit of weight to my phone. Not everyone will like that but it's my cup of tea for sure. I do a lot of photography and crafts so unfolded this device gives so much more to work with. The battery life has been great, with several battery saving modes. The camera surprised me. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is. The onboard editing is also amazing, offering a magic removal tool for certain photos. Expensive, but amazing phone...

I looked at the Pixel Fold for a month or so, but finally decided to order it thinking that I could always return it, if I didn't love it. After using it for a week, I'll say this, despite a few flaws, this phone isn't going anywhere. Sure, it's a bit bulky, and definitely heavier than I'm used to, coming from my Pixel 7 Pro, but in terms of function, this phone rocks, especially after installing the Android 14 beta. The split-screen use with the internal display is amazing (though you are pretty much limited to two apps), watching movies is fantastic, and taking selfies is a breeze with the back or front camera. First Pixel phone and I can see why they have the best camera

As an owner of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 for nearly 2 years, it was time for me to get an upgrade. The Google Pixel Fold caught my eye with all the neat features to include what they claimed the best camera on a foldable. I couldn't agree with that statement anymore. I've gotten to play around with this phone now for a coupe of days and I am in love with it. The camera features are incredible including their night sight mode. This is the most detailed phone. I took a photo of a butterfly in 10x zoom and it came out really crisp. I also love how you use the main rear cameras to take selfies for the best quality possible. Good phone--would be FANTASTIC if all apps worked

This is a great phone, and I really enjoy the folded out version for streaming video and a few apps that really take advantage of the extra space (NYT crossword is AMAZING in the tablet view). That said, some of my apps didn't come over properly, and I can't get some older apps I love (e.g. Bridge Baron). Some just crash or don't work at all, even in regular phone/compact mode (FLA Lottery, Vizio Remote for Roku), and others just don't work on the bigger screen but are fine on the outer screen.Worth it, though! I just wish the entire industry hadn't gone away from the SD card slot. I have stuff that I treasure but don't necessarily want in the cloud, you know? Or just haven't ever uploaded. So get the 512 if you use a lot of apps.

Coming from a Samsung Fold 3, it's more awkward to hold no matter the orientation. Official case is expensive and doesn't really feel like a quality item the price tag suggests. No desktop mode which was a surprise as was a feature I actually used on the Samsung. Speaker placement is odd, and it's easy to block at least one speaker when portrait. Pixel skin is lovely but not without it's annoyances - like ugly game icons. Materials don't feel quality, whereas the metal frame on the Fold felt much nicer. Camera is good but nothing revolutionary. Wider aspect ratio on front screen is useful, but not so much on main screen as best held in portrait, but as previously mentioned, the weight balance isn't conducive to holding it that way. Google Pixel Fold ECEEDS Expectations

Recently acquired the Google Pixel Fold with AT&T, and it's been nothing short of spectacular. I've faced zero issues since day one. Although the absence of stylus support is a slight downside, the device more than makes up for it with its exceptional camera. The quality it offers not only brings memories vividly to life but also ensures effortless sharing through various apps with friends. What sets this device apart is its dual screen; it's brilliantly designed and notably more user-friendly than the Samsung counterparts, primarily due to its convenient size. And for those always on the move, the super-fast charging capacity is a game changer. Definitely a top-tier device!
