I've been a hueg fan of GoPro for a good while. When the Mini was announced, I knew I had to get it at some time. The sale price was a great motivator to get it and this small thing is a beast.Has the same premium quality as the full-size model, but in a smaller package. Sure, there's some features missing in the Mini but it's not a deal breaker.

After half an hour of use at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, the camera becomes like burning coal, overheats and turns off. The video is crashing. The video quality is terrible - everything is soapy and noisy even in good lighting conditions. Sent it back for a replacement. If they send the same illiquid - I will hand over and return the money. A nightmare. Every year gopro is made worse and worse.

Out of nowhere one of my new GoPro 11's will not power on. I've followed all GoPro protocol for restarting but I get nothing. I even replaced the battery with a fully charged battery and still no power. I love B&H and I've happily owned many GoPro cameras but I've never encountered a total failure like this. The B&H return policy is only good for 30 days which now seems a few months too short. No humans at GoPro have responded yet. I'm hoping they will make this right.
I bought my GoPro to make video of my dail work as im working on the road. However the battery or the camera heat faster which lead to shut off the camera itself. It doesn’t last longer than expected when i do my recording. I mounted on my dashboard but it doesn’t support the heat of the motor
The last GoPro camera that I purchased was the Hero 3+ Silver Edition prior to this one. I am really impressed with it and happy I upgraded. The video quality is great and I was already able to get some cool footage skiing so far. Uploading the videos to the cloud is simple with its ability to send up without a wired connection and the GoPro Subscription with unlimited video storage is fantastic.
I started using this camera on Christmas Day. Great camera with lots of features. I have yet to tap into the app features and mainly just transfer from the memory card to my computer. By the way I use and highly recommend the SanDisk Extreame Plus 256 micro card. So far everything was working just fine until last week it kept shutting off due to battery overheating. So the reviews are right about that. Here is what my hunch is to why the battery is overheating. When I was first recording my children’s games, no problem but the rear display was on a setting to go out after 1 minute(the camera is still recording). I was able to get through all the games(30-60 minutes) without any issues. The video was fantastic and easily customized and adapted to audio was very, very good and the battery lasted for the entire event while attached to the tripod handle thing (which also has a USB-C charger - and a similar lack of instructions). What I could not figure out was how to attach the tripod and have it connected to power the GoPro and also have the exterior mic case all at the same time.On unboxing, I had no clue what all the various attachments were or how to utilize them, the style of how to open/attach/detach is spring-based and also hard to figure out with no tips, and there's no included instructions on how to set up the various attachments for different scenarios (this is the ONLY reason for a 4 out of 5) -- any time you have to have an app to figure out how to do assemblies of pieces, that's a recipe for wasted time and frustration. The *only* thing missing from the mountain of accessories in-box was an extra battery.All in all, this GoPro seems really well suited for folks upgrading from another GoPro; as an intro to GoPro, it's a little overwhelming but if you have time before the thing you want to film, it's not as big of a deal. The attachments seem to allow you to do all sorts of great things on the go, and in terms of the one thing you want it to be able to do: film good video in a number of different environments, it's perfectly suited.

The 11 is very responsive and the menus are easy to navigate and to understand. On it’s own, the 11 is a video powerhouse. But with the Volta grip attached it makes using it so simple. The controls being right at your fingers makes such a difference. Obviously you won’t use the grip for many commonly used outdoor activities. But for vlogging it’s a very valuable tool. The included light is nice to have in a pinch, but really it’s not powerful enough to use for much. The ability to connect directly to you favorite social media for streaming is awesome. I’ve only played with the voice controls but they seem to work fine. Guess I’m just old school and can’t get into the voice control thing. Battery life is good but not outstanding. Definitely worth investing in a spare. I wasn’t sure what size memory card to go with but I settled on a 256gb. Should be plenty. With recording set to 5k & 60fps it says it can record over 7 hours. And as always, it feels rugged. I haven’t tested the 33 foot depth claim for being waterproof. But I certainly will never need to worry about taking it out in a storm (something I’m likely to do). I only have one complaint and it’s really not a big deal. When attached to the Volta, you can use it without the USB-C cord connecting the 11 to the grip thru Bluetooth. But you can also connect the cord to the 11 to allow charging both units with the Volta port. The problem is that when the cord is connected to the 11, it feels (and even looks like) the tension on the 11 port is strained. Now it may just be that it looks bad. But in the long term it might be a problem point. Beyond that, I am thrilled with the GoPro 11 Creator Edition and plan to use it a lot.

It is very compact yet still provides considerably better sound that the onboard microphone offers. The light mod was also compact, bright, has a few different modes, and is individually rechargeable.My favorite accessory in this bundle was the Volta grip. It is the perfect GoPro accessory. It has a battery in the grip to keep the gopro going. It has a built-in tripod. It has built in controls which can be used wired or wirelessly. It also has tripod threads if you wanted to use this in conjunction with a full size tripod.Overall, i thought that this was a really great camera with a lot of great accessories included in this bundle.
