Whether you're riding along a windswept hilltop or taking on a fast swooping trail to the valley below, cold winds can soon leave you shivering and questioning your choice of riding kit. But if you have the Lupra Cycling Jacket you'll enjoy complete protection from the chilling effects of cold winds. While completely impervious to wind, this is a jacket that is also remarkably breathable. This combination of breathability and windproofing makes it perfect for cycling, where you can be working hard pedalling uphill one moment and then plunging downhill or battling a headwind the next. And should it be misty and a drizzle hangs in the air, the water-resistant outer ensures dry comfort. As you navigate rough terrain you'll want to move easily. And that's no problem thanks to the use of stretch fabrics, facilitating easy freedom of movement. The regular fit of the Lupra and pre-shaped elbows also frees you up to move and makes it easy to add layers underneath - perfect for tailoring comfort to the weather conditions. A helmet-compatible hood and dropped tail offer the finishing touches, sealing out the elements for the long haul.

This is a great jacket, highly recommended. The gore tex technology really helps.

Positives:1) Hood is an excellent size accommodating a range of helmets inc. full face, drop frames, half shell and bmx lids.2) Size and fit is accurate, comfortable - not too tight and not too baggy. Material is stretchy.3) Pockets are a decent size, though not as large as the Fox Defend jacket.4) Mudflap is the rear is effective.Negatives:1) Main zip would benefit from having a storm flap/cover.2) Zippers on pockets could be larger - hard to feel/grip with gloves on.

If you're after a water-resistant jacket, look elsewhere. Read the blurb carefully: only selected panels are water-resistant, while the others are not. The latter soak up the rain like a sponge, as I experienced it today. Apparently Gore Wear wanted to prioritise breathability, but then it begs the question where are the underarm vents which would help regulate temperature in sustained effort situations? Positives: nice fit, good wind-breaking properties, practical hood. Look up a review by Tyler Benedict on Bikerumor. I think he got it spot on what this jacket is and what it is not.
Was caught in a downpour and got wet. I re-read the description which says “waterproof in light rain” which is accurate. However,With the gore brand I assumed it would protect me from all rain.
Really, really small. Can't believe how off the size seemed to be.Lovely jacket though, if it fitted! Sent it straight back.
Very comfortable, and excellent for a windy days. Plus that yellow is easy on the eye.
